Proper car porn,a Duesenberg Roadster owned by Clark Gable.Only two were made the other one being owned by Gary Cooper.

I wonder if they raced them?

The first short-wheelbase roadster was sold to the actor Gary Cooper in 1935.[3][17] The other "SSJ" was lent by the company to actor and established Duesenberg customer Clark Gable in 1936.[17] Cooper and Gable would race each other in the Hollywood Hills in these cars.[3]

Now that is really nice and desirable imo, probaly one of my all time fav manufacturers.

I dunno, I am a long time Aston Martin fan myself and think they have made some of the most beautiful cars to ever grace the world's roads but this modern stying just doesn't do anything for me at all - the grossly oversized wheel rims and bulbous body mouldings I find grotesque.

Entertaining video but I think they over-glamourize the origins of the Land Rover - the original vehicle was actually intended to be a low-cost agriculture implement and it looks like this one certainly fulfilled that role before being abandoned to the elements - I can't imagine the money it must have cost to get this wreck mobile again.

Here's a similar old hulk that I owned for a few years - 1951 world traveller:
