Some better run airlines like the IAG group have said they will be able to insulate themselves for 6 months. So no sympathy from me, not least for Richard fucking Branson. I guess that at minimum gross weight its obviously no problem I used to go in there in the 80's & early 90's in Omani air force BAC 1-11's.These aircraft had demin water injection to give a power boost on takeoff but even with that the perimeter fence & road beyond it seemed to loom very large & very quickly.
