Some manufacturing has / is moving out of China since several years. They didn't wait Trump or the Covid. Main reasons : - Salaries have gone up dramatically in China during the last decade - The RMB has gone up in value. But.... check how much of that manufacturing has gone to Thailand ? Nearly none. Most went to VN, Cambodia, Bangladesh, Pakistan, India, ......
