Don't know m8.....just gave it a wide berth later........nothing there at 22.30.......

I left Prom about 19:00 and either didn't notice the tonsil tickle stations, or they hadn't set up yet.

Like you I would would give testing stations like that a wide berth. The penalty is too great if you test positive, even if it's a false positive.

Case in point, a friend recently had a bad case of diarrhea and went to a Pattaya hospital. They put him on a saline drip to help him rehydrate, and as a bonus tested him for Covid. Result was negative so they retested him. That test came back positive with the result was they wheeled him up to the isolation floor for a mandatory 10 day stay. Cost was 50,000B which his insurance paid 30k. Nice little money maker the hospital has going.

So in addition to Covid test stations, add hospitals as another place to avoid unless you absolutely need to go.

From this afternoon's walk.  Very hazy, the shot of the Pattaya City sign was taken from a point close to Soi 6.  The police have a new jet ski and preparations are ongoing for the next round of the music festival which is scheduled for Friday and Saturday.

Anyone using Soi 15 from Buakhao to Second Road better find a different route for the foreseeable.  Blocked at City Garden to just short of Second Road and looks like drainage.  I walked through today but it was early.  I don't expect you could even do that when work is being done.
