I dropped into the Las Vegas complex for the first time last night; the place was probably between 2/3 and 3/4 full and the band appeared to be beginning for the evening. I sat at a bar about a quarter of the way in and had a Sangsom, and bought a drink for a girl there. I think my drink was 80b and hers was 170b. I was enjoying chatting with her and then the band started and like most music bars, it was simply too loud to have an easy conversation. There was a noise meter quite close to this bar and it was hovering between 95 - 100db while the band played. I think it's a nice place and I will go back but I'll definitely be sitting as close to the entrance as possible if the band is on.

It's that time of year again left this morning got to Bangkok Bank at 8:30 just as they were opening by 8:40 I had my passbook updated letter showing my balance and now they need a 3-month letter showing activity in the past 3 months. In any event 10 minutes in 10 minutes out. Walked to Maneerat I walked in to a chorus of Hello Larry. They're a good group there they never forget me I'm sure it has nothing to do with the croissants I drop them by on occasion 😁. The place was mobbed as I expected it to be as they were just coming back from a week-long holiday. When Fon saw me she motioned me to the back and handled me right away no waiting which I didn't request or expect. I'm happy to wait my turn but she dealt with me right away. And then informed me I'd have to go down to immigration to get a photo taken she assured me there'd be no waiting and there wasn't the minute I got the immigration the photographer grabbed me took me in to the back office had me stand in front of desk 8 took my photo and I was gone less than 5 minutes. It's a pain in the ass going down there but if you got to do it you got to do it. She also told me not to expect it back before Thursday due to the amount of business they're handling at the moment. I really like it down there I've never had a single issue that they haven't been able to deal with they're always fast reliable and while I do think there are companies now that may do it a bit cheaper I just feel safe with them so until next year I'm okay. There are the guys that say why would you pay somebody to do it if you have the money in the bank you can do it yourself well I did do it myself a couple of times but the amount of time I had to wait down there it just wasn't worth it to me I'm one of those got more time than money guys but time is money so for the 8,000 Baht they charge ( using your own or 12500 if using their money) is in my opinion well worth it. Especially today it was an absolute madhouse down there Let me add that I got my exercise for the day I did all of this on foot including walking from the agent all the way down to the immigration but I did take a bolt back because I was beat long walk

I picked up her majesty late in the evening once from T3 Heathrow, after her flight home from Thailand and after putting her luggage into the car off the trolley, off we went along the M4 and then South on the M25 and joined the M3. After a few minutes on the M3 she reached around to the back seat to get her handbag and it wasn’t there. 😢f**k!!! It seems she’d left it on the handle of the trolley in the car park. f**k. SO, eventually turn off the M3 and get back on it going East and eventually after about 2 hours arrive back at T3 car park and we’re praying the trolley and handbag are still there. Of course they ain’t. PANIC as all her cards and passport + money are in it. She ran down to the security office and luckily someone had handed it in and left their name and address along with a phone number. Anyway, later, on the way home, she rang the number and spoke to the old lady to thank her. Then pretended to sleep for the next 3 hours so she didn’t have to listen to cuss her for her stupidity. 🤨 The next day, the wife arranged for a big food hamper and a case of wine delivered to her as a thank you and feckin paid with it on my card. 🤬 Women!!!

Just eaten at Seventy Farenheit in Lamai. Absolutely stunning food.Wife had Pomelo salad followed by a Pork Massaman with a ginger fried rice.I had cheesy garlic bread followed by a Lamb shank in a Penang curry. I had a couple of profiteroles for dessert.

Just got home from the gym. There was this young lady around early 20’s on the treadmill next to me. She had this bra type top on and a lovely pair of tits that were bouncing nicely as she jogged. Tried to catch a glances without being caught lol. Made for a nice workout.

Just stopped at Banlay Home Cafe on Walking street for a Cake fix, Coconut cake for the missus and Banoffee pie for me.You will find the entrance next to Sensations, you need to walk down a long corridor to the seafront to find it.

Off shortly to see an Iron Maiden tribute band at the Acoustic Lounge in Bracknell and meet my friends Ron and Rob who I haven’t seen for a fair while.

Sweating my nads off, a beautiful day in Lamai but boy is it hot. Going to do some snorkelling now.

Last night's dinner at Robin Hood, I had a French Onion soup followed by a 400gm ribeye with a side's of chips and red wine sauce, with an extra of roasted vegetables and my wife had Tom Yum Gung.

^^^^^ Good on you for making someone's day and good on them for being honest. Karma works both ways and has done so in this case. Don't give your good lady too much of a hard time, it can happen to all of us when tired and exhausted.Props to you as well for handling an extra 5+ hours to your journey. Sometimes life throws us a curveball and in your case, all has worked out very well for everyone , apart from the poor bugger having to drive!. It could have been so much worse, all things considered.

Another wet holiday in the books got out early this morning to see what was left I must say they clean things up pretty quickly. Was out with friends yesterday. We were on LK Soi 7 and 8 2nd road and beach road. It was good fun the last day always is and this morning this is what I found left of it.

Hired a driver for the day, we are stopped having some lunch near Bang Por looking over to Ko Phangan.

Having a watermelon smoothie on the pier in hua hin,good to be back and feel the sea breeze again,tho noticeably cooler than kanchanaburi ,its still 37. Following the haybail truck for a bit as i thought it would topple,the bend to cha am would have got him for sure if he didn't turn off.

At the naga statue cha am,fortunately the weather played ball and sun was behind clouds the whole pleasant journey from hua hin ,off to eat soon.

Well that went really well,we had no means of communication as she didn't have her UK sim card so I gave it about 50 mins after landing & drove the 32 miles to T4,parked in the short stay & when I went into the terminal she was standing right in front of me.I think she landed at 2010 & we were in the house at 2200. And as a bonus she bought a twinpack of Black Bush😃!

I have the use of a Thai gardener that sorts my gaff out. He only speaks Thai and i don't so my wifey deals with him. He does a reasonable job but not really up to English standards but what he does is ok. Wifey has just called him and he's willing to come out to your gaff and have a lookie and chat with you if you speak Thai or your wifey/GF if you don't. His TEL number is 0857683220. Who needs a gym. Ting tongs alarm goes off every morning 6am,feck it today went up to the hill before 7 then down to the beach for a swim,great start to the day but probably feel it later. Sitting in motorcycle cafe having breaky.

M'lady has been out on her morning "Faller Patrol" to see what fruits were on the ground and which were ready for picking. For the first time she picked each type of mango that she grows.. - Four big trees of the "normal" mango that you get with sticky rice or unripe for the bar girls on their periods! - One bush of the "rosy cheeked" round one which I had never seen before moving here. - One bush of the "miniature" mango, lovely and sweet but a bit messy to eat ....

Some pics from Kanchanaburi,I'm staying at the rivet kwai resort pool access room,1800 bht but asked for discount and got it for 1600 for 3 nights. It's quite, I'm in a corner room so perfect,just seen 1 thai family yesterday,this morning a couple of falang older couples ,they might be here for anzac day tomorrow. The bars mostly were busy last night,I think again because anzac day tomorrow, from what I heard lots of aussie s Had a few drinks in 2 bars but nothing of interest, add to that the usual older lady trying her luck with new falang in town,fs then her mate came over after making it obvious I wasn't playing, she had bigger teeth ! with enough spaces for cars to drive through,anyhow did a sharp exit to a nearby restaurant at about 11pm,back to room called ting tong to tell her I been a good man,didn't necessarily plan on that but hey ho. I've definitely got pics from last year on the bridge with these same dogs.

I was in Bodega bar a couple of weeks ago, there is a service girl who has a wonky eye, she has worked there for as long as I can remember and as I walked past she shouted out to me, so I went in for a chat and bought her a drink.

Just finished cooking tonight’s dinner of lambs fry and bacon. Just pop it in the microwave when I get home from the pub.

The only reason I know is that on a drunken sad day some 23 yeaars ago I met my wife for the first time in the Bodega bar. If only I walked past to Nice with Ice and got my dick sucked instead.

A drive down to pak nam pran about 30 minutes on the bike. Very good restaurant never dissapoints,the seafront was busy with 100s of thais picnicking,and buying food from the many food carts lined alongside beachrd,great atmosphere.

Got home and went straight to bed after turning my water back on and my heating up to 19 degrees. Slept well for 8 hours. Feels good to be home again, although I now have all of the mail to go through and the jobs to catch up on. My mate left me a bottle of milk by the door, so I can at least enjoy a fresh cup of tea without going out.
