This Covid thing is a good business for a few selected people....

https://www.thejakartapost.com/amp/news/2020/03/23/covid-19-indonesia-to-provide-financial-incentives-for-frontline-doctors-nurses.html

COVID-19: Indonesia to provide financial incentives for frontline doctors, nurses

"The government is to provide a Rp 15 million (US$886.79) incentive to medical specialists, Rp 10 million to physicians and dentists, Rp 7.5 million to nurses and Rp 5 million to other medical staff members, he added.

We will also provide a total of Rp 300 million for compensation in case of death. This is applies to regions that have declared a state of emergency,” Jokowi said on Monday."

Not bad for a country where the minimum salary is 3 million (in Jakarta)

And then this happens

https://www.thejakartapost.com/amp/news/2020/04/16/doctors-resign-from-covid-19-referral-hospital-in-north-sumatra-over-incentives.html

At least five specialist doctors working at Padang Sidempuan Hospital, a COVID-19 referral hospital in North Sumatra, have resigned from their positions in response to reportedly unpaid incentives"

https://en.tempo.co/read/1366807/health-minister-says-hospitals-not-trying-to-profit-from-pandemic

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Indonesian Health Minister Terawan Agus Putranto has refuted allegations that hospitals have been trying to profit from the COVID-19 pandemic, arguing that hospitals have rules of professional conduct and ethics regarding medical services.

From the local rumor mill : "stay away from hospitals ! They NEED Covid patients and victims to continue cashing their incentives." Understood, if they dont have any, they will "create" them ...

Anyway, I have zero intention of going anywhere close to any hospital at the moment.

It's all good fun, except for the millions of small people who are victims of the comedy.

And all these huge medical Coroa incentives have fueled all sorts of diagnosis hanky panky......Stories like man eaten by shark and dies from Coronavirus would not exist without these gigantic financial incentives......

When gold is discovered in some tiny mining town of lets say of a few hundred people and news gets out about the bonanza.......The towns population might go from 100s to 10s of thousands with-in weeks......People have gold fever and they want in on the action....

Well with all the huge and massive amounts of money countries are paying doctors and hospitals for anything related to the Coronavirus, its creating not gold fever but Corona fever with the medical community the world over.....Corona needs to be found it must be found and the more that's found the better if you know what I mean $$$$....Its a Corona money bonanza......

If people can not see a conspiracy in all this.....Well then they just don't want to see it....

The incentives are HUGE to declare a person tested using the PCR test positive for Coronavirus.....

So in Western Australia we're doing over 3,500 tests per day and have only had 11 positives for the month of August (all overseas travellers).

How do we get onto this gravy train?

We must be incredibly stupid, incredibly honest or the supposed "conspiracy" is an incredible crock of shit.

PS. Got a link to the man eaten by shark story?

For the record, Australia has had 19 shark attacks during 2020 including 6 fatalities. None of the fatalities have been attributed to Covid-19.

Mind you, I think Victoria would like to be able to attribute some of the Covid-19 deaths incurred during their "second wave" to shark attacks.

I said Western Australia! No cases of local transmission in over 130 days!

Victoria on the other hand f***d up quarantining overseas arrivals (possible only one person) and are now having daily positive tests in the hundreds and deaths in the tens per day.

Open the borders and everything goes to shit!

We still have shark attacks though.

I got to the hospitals every day when I am in BKK to work .... none of the hospitals .. Ramkhamhaeng, Synphaet, Sukhumvit, Vibharam, Srinakarin are the hospitals I have been to work this week and none of them have had a reported Wuhan virus case ....

I think you are more at risk contacting TB than the Wuhan Virus .... at least here in BKK ...

Heck.... the head honcho of Thailand has nothing on the Premiers of Aust...especially the two from WA and Victoria.... they are nothing but megalomaniac rabbits..... their true colours are showing now.... they will not give up the power without a fight..... but slowly the realisation of what they are doing is starting to be questioned by the man on the street.

Phase 4

Start date: 27 June 2020

Western Australia’s COVID-19 restrictions have been relaxed even further, as WA’s roadmap is updated to complete the removal of all restrictions.

Due to the world-leading response to COVID in WA, Phase 4 started on Saturday, 27 June (11.59pm Friday, 26 June) and has resulted in:

  • all existing gathering limits and the 100/300 rule removed
  • gathering limits only determined by WA’s reduced 2 square metre rule
  • the 2 square metre rule will only include staff at venues that hold more than 500 patrons
  • removal of seated service requirements at food businesses and licensed premises
  • no requirement to maintain patron register at food businesses and licensed premises
  • alcohol can be served as part of unseated service arrangements
  • all events permitted except for music festivals
  • unseated performances permitted at venues such as concert halls, live music venues, bars, pubs and nightclubs
  • gyms operating unstaffed, but regular cleaning must be maintained
  • the casino gaming floor reopening under agreed temporary restrictions.

For WA’s major sport and entertainment venues, a 50 per cent capacity rule applies. Therefore, under Phase 4, the temporary capacity of major stadiums is:

Optus Stadium
Sport: 30,633
Concerts: 35,000

HBF Park
Sport: 10,150
Concerts: 16,500

HBF Stadium
Sport: 2218
Concerts: 2945

RAC Arena
Sport: 7150
Concerts: 8250

Western Australians must continue to keep up physical distancing where possible and maintain good personal hygiene to better protect themselves and the general health of our community.

WA businesses will be expected to ensure their COVID Safety Plans are updated and continue to be implemented.

COVID Safety plans help mitigate the risk of COVID-19, are in line with health advice and provide extra confidence to patrons and staff entering the business premises.

No!

As confirmed by a Federal Court judge and agreed to by 96% of the population (will of the people or don't you believe in that). Hard borders are the way to control the spread of Covid-19. We don't want those disease ridden escapees from the other states.

Bad enough having to take the disease ridden from overseas forced on us by Scotty from marketing.

The casino is an entertainment venue just like the pubs, clubs, bars restaurants, stadiums, skate parks, gyms etc or do you want those closed as well.

BTW. Wardens keep people in NOT out. We're just a big gated community.

I do not know or care who McGowan's mates are.

You should keep up.... that case is heading to the High Court... it is not over yet.... not by a long shot.

96% of the population...lol...sure... if you say so.....lol.

So can you up and travel anywhere within WA where you want......do what you want....when you want???

Of course you do not want to talk about the Warden's mates...  it makes more of a mockery of what he stands for.

Apart from aboriginal communities one can travel anywhere within the state, do as per the previously posted list and do it whenever they want.

I never thought I'd quote one of departed Ivy's right wing sources but

The electoral power of strong borders is vastly underestimated.

Western Australia has hard borders at the moment, and no coronavirus — other than a few cases getting caught in the mandatory quarantine. That’s 2.5 million people who are almost living a normal life.  This is not to boast (we wish you could be here), but to point out how politically popular closed borders are in the current pandemic. The Premier is wildly popular, polling close to 90%. To all the people who said “states can’t close borders” the message is that it’s bonkers not to close borders. When the Commonwealth government joined the bizarre High Court push to force them open, the pushback was ferocious. A poll today showed that West Australians are fed up. The West Australian collected 245,000 signatories to a petition supporting the border closure.

Not only do 96% say the borders should stay shut.

http://joannenova.com.au/2020/08/freedom-and-hard-borders-are-96-popular-a-third-of-west-australians-want-to-secede/

Now see if you can work out from the following table which states have hard borders.

image.png

I will say again. I neither know or care who Mark McGowan's mates are.

I care only about how his policies are keeping Western Australians safe from Covid-19 and how we are leading near normal lives.

If you only care about his policies of keeping WA safe... then surely you would care why the Warden's mates do not come under them.... like you have too.

You have it in a nutshell.... the power has gone to the Warden's head.... like all the Premiers.... they do not care of the overall picture of working to make all Australia safe .... all they care is holding onto the extra power they have and how to keep it... how to keep their state citizens suppressed for no reason at all.... except if you are mates with them.... lol

Oh... I believe October is the date for the High Court.... I wonder what the % will be then...lol

For a person, according to you, who wants to hang onto power he sure is prepared to give it up.

Phase 5

Tentative start date: 24 October 2020

Phase 4 of the WA COVID-19 roadmap extended

Based on the latest health advice, Phase 4 of the WA COVID-19 roadmap has been extended until Friday, 23 October.

The new tentative start date for Phase 5 will now be Saturday, 24 October. A final decision on whether Phase 5 can proceed on this date, or if it can be brought forward, will be decided in October.

Phase 5 would see remaining restrictions removed, except WA’s hard border and access to remote Aboriginal communities.

It would also see the removal of WA’s 2 square metre rule and the 50 per cent capacity for our major venues.

Phase 6

Phase 6 was going to include the removal of WA’s hard border with the rest of the country and travel restrictions currently in place for remote Aboriginal communities.

A tentative date for the removal of WA’s hard border was planned to be included as part of Phase 6, however, this was put on hold due to the rapidly evolving situation in Victoria.

When an indicative date is set in the future, it will be contingent on locally acquired infection rates in the eastern states.

The WA hard border will only be removed when the WA Chief Health Officer is confident the spread of infection is controlled in the eastern states.

We would be in phase 5 now if Victoria hadn't fuked up.

Mark McGowan is the Premier of Western Australia. The citizens of Western Australia are his responsibility, not the rest of Australia.

A while ago you were whining that people couldn't get regular hospital treatment. Now they can. You want to put that at risk.

I'd lay off the Lao Khao for a while, it's addling your brain.

PS: This thread is about Covid-19 not Mark McGowan's mates. You can start a thread on that topic if you like. It'll be a pretty dull topic.

lol... you would have been phase 5 unless Victoria had not stuffed up .... oh yeah... why not make decisions based on what is happening in WA.. lol

So Phase 4 has been extended to October... near on two months from now... why so far... why not a month .... surely it would not be a political decision by the Warden to have it in place when the High Court action will be taking place or that some of the power will have to be given up...555. Remember you were the one who put up the graph and posts that all is hunky dory in WA.. if so... why extend restrictions for at least a minimum of two more months???

Hospital treatment was indeed held back for people who needed on going treatment for no reason at all..... and that decision will come back to bite a few on the behind for sure in more than one country...Australia included.

The posts are about CV19 in non Thailand countries...so on topic.... just because a different view is being expressed to yours or that you have been caught out on things... well it is a discussion after all.

Oh dear.... why the little personal snipe with the Lo Khao comment mate.... have some posts hit a raw nerve that all is not as it is in WA as some would make believe.... 555

I am completely happy with the way things are. I doubt if phase 5 will affect me.

Basically it's up to the other states. Get Covid-19 under control and the restrictions can be lifted.

WA is humming along just fine in most areas.

Good you are happy.... not all are.... but again you seem miss the question.... why is the extension two months to the end of October... why not extend by one month .... what is the reason behind that???

Basically it is up to all Australians to pull together and it is time that the Premiers reign in their megalomaniac egos and realise that all have to pull together for the sake of all Australians .

Explain how exposing a state that is free of Covid-19 transmission to parts of the population which may still have transmission be for the "sake of all Australians"?

You have been listening to the Warden well.... 5555.

For your information.... WA is apart of Australia..... all Australians are in it together..... WA is not a separate country.... even if the Warden has assumed it is.
