I have a friend who teaches yoga in bali who bailed out in March and went back to Japan where is wife is......Now he has been stuck in Japan since March and can not leave or he will not be able to get back in with a American passport.....His job is Bali is now up in smoke and he is just about to lose his KITAS one year visa, which by the way is one heck of a nasty bad boy to get... And he is just one person.....This Covid madness will be making millions, 10s of millions, 100s of millions maybe billions of people broke and destitute if the Covid show continues for another year or two... The Kitas is not really difficult, it's the W.P. that is. But I agree, even if they did open up next month, I cant see many people coming. Who would want to travel with all the B.S. rules changing overnight ? Same for me, no way I travel to France as long all the stupid rules are in place. Seems a bit bonkers that she has to do 2 weeks of self isolation when Thailand has had hardly any Covid. But she is doing it,the missus just left with a load of supplies for her.
