Good to see the forum up and running again. Looks like any posts made on Tuesday were lost, but we were forewarned that might happen. Is the forum stable enough now that new posts won't be lost?

sorry about Mondays posts being lost, it shouldnt have happened, but the coder decided to go back to the same backup again to fix an issue

It’s to be expected it’s not a 100% smooth transition. It was online yesterday just long enough to make one post, then I got different messages, including a much appreciated one saying “my coder has to sleep sometime”. That summed it up well for me….

When time allows, it would be nice to have the return to top of page icon back.

PA now undergoing the same move to a new server. Expect to see an influx of new BM's here with the note they put on the status page.

If a visitor had an opportunity to visit one bar in Pattaya on 17 Dec 2022 which bar would that be? 

This particular traveler has a bit of a family orientated schedule and needs to plan well.

More info required, what does that chap like, an open beer bar type place or maybe a nightclub environment, a go-go bar perhaps or maybe an all-on experience such as a soapie ????

2. Pattaya Soi6 type, gogo or bar beer all ok

The search index processing routine has sure been running for a long time. When it's done will it have found the return to top of page icon? 

Wouldn't mind the "Edit" cutoff time being extended as well.

Before the recent update there was no 'end' to the edit period. Now it's less than an hour?

Many reasons to edit: typos; better grammar; better photos; second thoughts on post content; etc. Sometimes it's just a matter of stepping away from the computer for a bit, only to come back and see the post needs an edit (or three).

Imo it's reasonable to allow editing up to the point when there are replies that quote the post.

The measure was introduced following a member who became disenchanted with the forum was able to delete all his recent posts.  This left a significant number of blank posts or posts containing nothing but a full stop.

If anyone needs a post editing or the title changing, any member of the moderation team or admin can edit the said post.
