andycoll
Absolutely enjoying this one. His previous book A Gentleman in Moscow was good but this is even better. No spies, action heroes, serial killers, just a well written story with well written characters.
forcebwithu
Just finished book 2 of the Wasteland series. Books 1 and 2 have been very good reads. Now have to wait until January for the author to publish the final book in the trilogy. Ford is another good author if you're into SciFi books. Lemondropkid
Michael Lewis book picked up in my local charity shop. Huge fan of his, have heard him lecture and love most of his output from Liars Poker onwards. This one is off Economics and into Politics, in the main about the vital work obscure arms of the US government does. As always with Lewis, brilliant writing

andycoll
I didn't know he was still writing books in this series but luckily I chanced upon this one. The 21st in the series.
andycoll
With the cricket being so boring yesterday I was able to finish my Richard Sharpe book and make a start on my next action read which the library finally had available for me. Another day like yesterday and I will probably finish it tonight.
andycoll
After Reacher was knocked off on the morning of the 3rd day of the test I've moved on to something more substantial. And at a mere 816 pages I reckon this will see me to the end of the test.

Thought Dr. Scarpetta would be in a retirement home by now. I remember reading the first couple of books of the series in the early 90's. Gave up on the series as I found the detective Marino character too irritating. Edited December 22, 2021 by forcebwithu
