Another view - even if the cop was wrong, it is also true that Black Lives Matter was irresponsible and sad opportunists to encourage destruction of downtowns (that mostly harmed black business or franchise owners) and allow beatings and murders on account of this event.

Equally irresponsible was the mainstream media’s acceptance and encouragement of the destruction of peoples financial livelihood (mostly minorities in downtown) and worse are the municipal governments which accepted this and prosecutors who failed to uphold the law for the protection of others.

Irresponsible as well, we’re those who named a school and other public areas after a many times over violent convicted criminals (harming a pregnant mother etc, extensive drug use of the most serious type etc).

When ever this name is mentioned, all wrongs should be mentioned.

So, whenever any murder victim’s name is mentioned we have to list the things you think someone else did wrong? Or just when it’s George Floyd?  What do we do if someone mentions Tamir Rice?  Or Breonna Taylor? Or Philando Castile? Or John Crawford III? If you think the outrage and protests are solely in response to George Floyd’s murder, then you really haven’t been paying attention.
Also, since you’re complaining  irresponsibility, maybe you should be a responsible poster and fact check some of the claims you’ve made.

I have fact check and went beyond the superficial in my fact checking. There is a superficial to all of this and there is more of what it is about. I suggest you look deep to ensure you are “paying attention” and no what’s going on. But that is not the direction of this thread so I will leave it at that.

I agree with your point that you can not report the previous behaviours of all victims. But, I referred to the honoring of someone with a school name. That does require the history, the “record” and the context of the persons life and role modelling. This specific reference I made, involves the individual’s character and life being explained to children and youth multiple times a year and literally displayed continually in front of them by the name and plaques. That I strongly state is not appropriate for a main of his criminal and life record. If you are correct there is a lot going on that needs recognition, then it is not appropriate to do it in the way of school naming and other honourings; but, in another way.

What school has been named after George Floyd?

So I take it you are in favour of removing all the statues, memorials etc "honouring" confederate generals criminals and renaming all the forts after Union military personnel.

Also earlier this week a  British police officer was found guilty of the manslaughter of former footballer Dalian Atkinson, who he basically tasered and beat to death. He will be sentenced Monday I believe.

This abuse by police has to stop.

Jailed for 8 years.

Should be longer.

It wasn't even GF.. just a patsy.. GF died of O/D in Tennessee 3 years earlier according to his lawyer..  this was a CIA/deep state construct. GF was 6ft6in. The patsy was shorter than one of the cops. There were a TOTAL of 54, (FIFTY FOUR) anomalies. Search. ''Rense. CIA Derek Chauvin False Flag Fake TV Trial - Read By Miles Mathis 4-26-21''.
