Enjoying our balmy weather at only -2C, which feels like spring after the last week or so of cold weather. A strong south wind blew in from the Pacific and our temperature rose from -32C to -6C in less than 24 hours yesterday - finally a chance to give the wood heat a rest after filling the stove every 5-6 hrs night and day for just over a week...

Finally back to normal for me, after being locked out, but after a password reset all is good. I missed the forum as well, it’s fun to check in even with 12 hour days at the hospital, followed by the rush home to avoid a ~40,000 baht fine for being outside after 8 pm. Dad is hanging on, the docs who said he was in his final days were full of shite. But it’s not good, don’t see him ever having the strength to return home. And his new wife cant even visit as she’s in agony from needing a hip replacement, which has been delayed due to pandemic. F—k 2020-21-22..........I’ve had enough

From experience, any pictures posted during an upload often don't load after. I have just edited all of my last few, the file still exists in the post so it was just a matter of deleting the image file in the post and adding again from the uploaded pic which is still there.

Hi guys, New to this forum, but not new to Pattaya. First arrived in 2009 and still a tourist - or at least I was until virus restrictions prevented my usual summer holiday last year. Forgive me if I don't post much to start with, I want to be able to read and appreciate what this forum has to offer before I start to properly contribute.

All I'll say is let's wait and see how it goes now. I'm just hoping there isn't an influx of certain arse licking posters from PA, I came here to get away from them and if they came here I'd then have to make do with Live which isn't a nice thought.
