Is it raining in Pattaya? (Threads Merged)

Thunder and a big downpour here in Jomtien. Chucking it down over the Gulf at the rear of my condo block.

Really refreshing in my condo with the balcony doors open, the back door open and the windows open on the other side of the entrance corridor. Superb through draft . . 😁

Bunch of cnuts driving down Soi 15 .. if anything they actually seem to speed up when hitting the puddles , fcuk all consideration for any pedestrians

What do you mean "puddles"? Those are water features built in to the newly constructed road.

😀

I'm hearing rumbles from the NE. Iffy right now if the rain will make it to central Pattaya.

Iffy has turned to certainty. Now raining near Suk and Klang. If the plants in the garden didn't have roots, they'd be dancing for joy.

We had a decent downpour while I was swimming this morning, around 11:00. About 10 minutes of heavy rain and 20 minutes or so of lighter stuff. I have no hesitation in saying that watering duty is cancelled this afternoon.

Another shower just arrived along with some thunder.  Let's see if this one lasts any longer than the previous one.

I think the short lived thundershower that just moved through the area is all we're going to get for the rest of the day. Unfortunately it was so short lived, it only added a couple of cm's of water to my new, expanded capacity rain collection system.

We get quite a few rumbles.. followed by wind... but never any rain..

What site is that from, I've forgotten ...????

Here's another radar loop that covers more of southern Thailand. Doesn't get to the far reaches of Ubon though.

This one just barely shows Ubon in the bottom right side. Looks like you're too far into the hinterlands to warrant radar coverage.

Another great way to keep track of weather in Pattaya is the Longdo Traffic app (I've got it on Android, not sure about iOS)

You can see traffic cameras all over Pattaya (and elsewhere).  It overlays the radar  on the map.

While it was dry at my place in central Pattaya I could see heavy rain on Sukumvit

and at Terminal 21 light rain
