It was a 2 bed terraced cottage and I sold it 18 months later for £16.900. I got a 90% Council grant to build a new, single storey kitchen and bathroom for just over £1K, so basically I paid around £110 for the building work.🤗 Not sure what the inflation rate back then was, but then I didn’t care because the council/government were paying. 😉 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Pumpuynarak Posted October 5, 2023 Author Share Posted October 5, 2023 My son has just acquired one of these Audi Q4 Etron S line EV, i think it looks brill and knowing the quality of Audi i think he'll be happy with it. Yes indeed Mike but my son has'nt caught up with me YET lol, the Benz is a real beauty, for me its ''The best car in the World''. If so if i ever get an EV it will come with a TVR V8 Sports Exhaust lol At the moment in some cars like mine there is a switch that enables me to turn the sound (VESS) off and it goes off automatically above a certain speed. I seem to remember that all future EV’s there won’t be the capability to turn it off. There are certain other drivers aids that can be turned off in my car at the moment, like lane keep assist LKA at the start of each trip, but those to will not be able to be turned off on future cars.
