Sounds like a whole load of horse shit that Mark Wood be paid 75K for a series of 1 day games, I could get. But 750k never happening, surely?? Whatever they go for at auction they get, not bad for 6 weeks work (Although I sure they lose a bit if they can’t make the full IPL due to England commitments). Ben Stokes got £1.8 milly 3-4 years back when he was at his peak before the pandemic. I’m sure there will be the usual agent/lawyer fees but beyond that they get the auction fee. Don't dislike Mark Wood at all, but that's a crazy price.
