I was confused by what the map represented as well. Using Google Image search I see the heading was cropped out of the picture. Another version of the map without the country overlays. https://www.researchgate.net/figure/Koppen-climate-classification-of-Australia-adapted-from-45_fig1_350760601

Toy Boy
Being a lazy old fart, I must admit that I like the minions filling the car up for me in Thailand, giving the windscreen a wash and even checking the tyres if I ask nicely. They know there's always a 20 Baht note at the end of it for them.

The guy looked like Santa Claus who just ate out an elephants ass. One early Sunday morning I was working, hungover to the gills. I was filling up some old girls car, took her money and went inside to make change. I looked up and she had backed up ripping the hose out of the pump. Gas was shooting out of the pump at full pressure. It was not a pleasant day. 1

lazarus
comment: "In Welsh schools, if the (English) teacher heard a child speaking Welsh, they made them hold a knotted rope called the Welsh Knot (Welsh Not). A child still holding it at the end of the day would get beaten. The only way to get rid of it was to tell the teacher if you heard someone else speaking Welsh. This way they thought children to police themselves." https://www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid=1047880236700684&set=a.610868297068549 1
fygjam
^^^ Louisiana law in 1921 prohibited the speaking of French in public schools, and Cajun children were physically punished for speaking French.
