Granted the US has its problems, but I wouldn't go so far as to label it a "Flawed Democracy".

Maybe check this out for the metrics behind the map:

Democracy Index 2022

https://www.eiu.com/n/campaigns/democracy-index-2022/

Report (hope this can be linked--I had to sign in to get it): https://pages.eiu.com/rs/753-RIQ-438/images/DI-final-version-report.pdf?mkt_tok=NzUzLVJJUS00MzgAAAGNfJQbReHsfWFQHL_xOna2Y1IL20QGqK-ri6eTVt6oW0LMaTGcxRX1Iwjb5P4FluFWuyuQKriuZ5pNk85TWhESDX99gXXZ-MUGL3lYY39H

. . .

Excepts:

"The Democracy Index is based on five categories: electoral process and pluralism, functioning of government, political participation, political culture, and civil liberties. Based on its scores on a range of indicators within these categories, each country is then classified as one of four types of regime: “full democracy”, “flawed democracy”, “hybrid regime”

If this is your big lake I'd hate to see your small one, lol - looks like a swamp to me....good luck with the fishing, though...

It's all relative mate. It's 72 acres and roughly 2 miles to walk around. That's pretty big by UK carp lake standards.

We are but a blotch on the map compared to Canada. Lol.

Canada wins on lake area, but my birth state has this for a nickname...

https://vividmaps.com/largest-lakes-by-area/

"There are about 1.4 million lakes on Earth with an area of 10 hectares (0.1 sq km) or more. Most of them are found in Canada, Scandinavia, and Siberia. Map below shows 1.4 million of these global lakes."
