Do you remember the 70s when drinking a bottle of Night Nurse was  the done thing before going out ...??

I think they have since removed some of the ingredients.

I was too young ... it normally sends me to sleep 555

Here is a question for all you Well 'Ard drinkers....

You are in a pub (of course) sitting down enjoying your beer until you need a refill.

You want to go up to the bar to order another drink ..... how do you stop somebody diving into your seat whilst you are at the bar???

Being someone who enjoys their own company I spend a lot of time drinknig alone. If it is somewhere where I am not a regular then before  go there I buy a newspaper and when I go to the bar to buy a drink I have at my table the newspaper open and my glasses on top. If rude pricks still try and take ove my table they get given a serve and if needed the bar staff get involved to my advantage,

I usually have my cap and sunglasses on the table, this weather a hoodie and jacket along with an umbrella.  Anyone stupid enough not to realise the seat is taken would get a rude awakening when I returned methinks!

Reading the front page on the BBC website.

Fucking disgusting behaviour from companies these days, always looking at saving money than caring about the loyal workers. Scumbags at P&O.

Saw the video call , terrible way to behave ,  ... only U.K. workers affected I believe .. P&O took £15m furlough cash

Companies don't care about their staff anymore, we were the same, got agency workers in to replace the full time staff who left. Knew they were moving so ran it on minimum commitment.

Several people were after my seat last night, I just leave my Racing Post on the table, with the bottom third of my pint sat on top and go and get a fresh one.

Was never worried about anyone taking the seat, it was more of locals pub I was in.

If I saw someone who cleared needed the seat more than myself, I'd offer it to them- but then I'm a gent like that😇 (no really!!)

Usually not in a pub on my own, very rare although I have hit the local 'spoon in Neath solo when shopping and then it would be use the app to order.

Don't think I have ever been in a pub where I have left my seat (for various reasons) and come back to find somebody sitting in my seat.

Just got off the phone to Test and Trace asking a few questions as my 6 year daughter, Kataleya, tested positive for covid this morning. She has a cough, a fever and a temp of 101 degrees.

She is feeling very sorry for herself and is in bed. Both Porn and I are still testing negative which is a bonus although we will test every day for 7 days with Kataleya doing further tests on Tuesday and Wednesday before going back to school.

She must have got it from school as we had letters on Monday advising that kids in her class had tested positive but for her to still attend. She has had no outside contact with others this week.

Luckily I don't work and Porn started a 2 week holiday from work yesterday so good timing even if not really wanted.

Anyhow covid is a serious issue although probably giving @forest a little chuckle today as my 6 year old is obviously a sheep. Rather a sheep than a knobhead.

Yup , I mentioned earlier that my little playmates are in hospital. Same age as your daughter. I phoned tonight and the family are in a room together, feeling very rough and barely able to talk and breath.

I will make sure that they have food and knom whilst they are in there.

It makes me quite upset that Bryan Flowers and Nick Deane belittle the effect that Covid is having on Thai families just so that they can open their grubby little bars!

f**k me! Flowers is e-begging on YT to keep his house, his cars and his brats at school. They are so detached from the reality of Thai life that it negates any opinion that they have!

And yes...certain family members that are in hospital work in a bar........ somewhere west of Sukhumvit

Yesterday it was Kataleya getting covid, today my wife, Porn, has tested positive. I am testing negative but could change but I am staying in a different bedroom to both the girls and staying downstairs while they stay upstairs during the day.

I will test again later and might take a few days away.
