Hahaha.... those were the days. My stepdad was born and raised in Monterey. I spent alot of time there in the late 60s and up to mid 70s. Thanks. Yes, it's quite surreal to imagine a river of that magnitude freezing over, but it oftens does during the harsh winters they get. boydeste Posted May 13, 2020 Share Posted May 13, 2020 (edited) Whilst out walking in Canada I spotted a couple of fish in a small stream near where I was staying, I grabbed some kit, a few beers and managed to stalk one out very quickly.
