Now that the GC's are starting to come back to life in Pattaya, time to start updating the GC map again. Added two new GC's to the map, Ballers and Sweet Lounge. No doubt I'm missing a few new places, and probably a couple of places that are marked open and are now closed. Please post corrections and I'll update the map accordingly. Note the map and list now carries a notice they are for the exclusive use of this forum. I also made a new map and list and unpublished the originals. I did this as I was made aware of a couple of websites that were using the map for commercial gain. At least this way if they start using the new map this forum will get a bit of free advertising on other websites. List of Pattaya gentlemen clubs and misc BJ/ST places currently included on the above map. There is also a separate tab that has a history of the updates to the map. If you know of new/renamed or closed bars, let me know so I can update the maps. If you can provide the GPS location and a pic, even better.7 points

Using up leftovers: I chopped a cooked pork chop into small pieces, then mixed it with yellow rice and feta cheese and topped it with pieces of mango. It only needed twenty minutes on the oven to melt the feta, since the pork and rice were already cooked. Feta goes really well with both pork and mango. Evil6 points

Regarding the panic attacks, used to get them when I was drinking. Anxiety was terrible. Booze cause's a lot more shit than liver disease. Attacks would come on anytime, had to leave the supermarket once as I had one, vision all over the place as well. Proper scary. Best thing you can do is stop drinking, made a massive difference to my physical and mental health.5 points

@Stillearly @Starshine @Butch @Lemondropkid Thanks for all your wishes…..everything pointed away from something serious like artery blockage. Even had an ultrasound with the jelly. Going back for the treadmill test in 2 weeks, which will be even more conclusive. I have some awful lifestyle habits that I must break, the pains did coincide with when I got very lazy after temperatures dropped. Could also be panic attacks, even though it seems like my heart feels fine when I’m the most excited, it almost always comes on when I’m doing f—k all. Could be digestion too…..anyway, I’m going to try and be little more active, sleep a solid 8 hours in a comfortable position with no distractions, spend less time on the couch and maybe chew my food a little longer5 points

To add to my previous post, when I posted here about struggling with being laid off, that was the closest I came to relapsing. Called my counselor Sian and told her I was struggling with the lack of purpose in my life. She convinced me to stay sober and not throw the great work away. Sometimes you just need someone to talk to. Makes a difference to your life.4 points

Now that the bars are starting to come back to life in Pattaya, time to start updating the darkside bar map again. Noticed on this morning's ride what was previously Kik Bar is now The Darkside. Also new is Darksiders Genesis Bar which is in GB Bar's old location. Please post in this topic any other new darkside bars that you know of and any that are marked as open and are now closed. Note the map and list now carries a notice they are for the exclusive use of this forum. I also made a new map and list and unpublished the originals. I did this as I was made aware of a couple of websites that were using the map for commercial gain. Mate - what you are saying is what the majority of people think. That is a fact - not opinion. Some years ago, for my sins, I worked in a City called Canberra. That City is a toxic culture dominated by Feminists, Greenies and Left wingnuts. I once had a conversation with a very well known senior Labor Minister (left wing) - he said the Canberra Branch of the Party were absolute wingnuts and would take society back to the caves if they were allowed. When there are elections, over 70% vote Labor in that City. My point is that even there the majority agreed that all the left wing minority stuff was crazy. But they knew what side of the bread was buttered - so everyone just went along with it. Even there they know what we have always known and what the Asians still know - that if you allow too much focus on certain 'tribes' of people, they will be trouble. It is not their fault - it is genetics - and once they become older and get into positions of power and influence, they will (on average) be a problem. Call it inferiority complex or whatever, but minorities are always taking things too far and they always will. Like it or not, we live in a Democracy - the majority is supposed to rule for everyone. If we continue to focus on the minorities - we will continue to have problems. As Humphries said : "Minister. Sussex has the least number of 'social problems' because they do not have any social workers, and East London has the most because they have the most number of social workers". "Humphries - are you trying to say that social workers do not actually solve social problems, but they merely identify and quantify them, and thereby create more work for more social workers?" Humphries (patiently) - "Yes Minister".4 points

Just got back from four nights in Vancouver yesterday, a little shopping and a lot of barhopping; of course it had to snow last night but it's warm enough now that it is all melting off today anyway and I won't even bother clearing most of the yard. My arthritic knee was bothering me the first day or two in YVR but I toughed it out and managed to get a 7 km walk in on my last day there - seems to do better the more I exercise it which is a good sign for the summer because I really need to lose some weight this year after mostly sitting around and drinking too much beer for the last two years of the covid BS - don't want to travel to Thailand until I can fit back into my tropical shirts and shorts again, lol...2 points

Yep, right royal kick in the nuts. Thanks Boris et al. However, I see that slimy worm Hancock is playing the loyalty card lately, trying to support BJ for partygate. When he visited a few NHS Trusts in Suffolk a while ago, several Nurses, senior Consultants and Doctors refused to be interviewed with him and I know of 2 who when he walked into the ward, turned their backs deliberately. With any luck within the next few years I'll be out of the UK and won't have to worry about these tossers.2 points

Pretty much agree with many sentiments here. Will Smith is an idol to many people, getting up and hitting a guy for a puerile and offensive comment sends the wrong message. He puts himself across as a smiling, fun family man who's everyone's friend, but the facade soon dropped. CR didn't threaten anyone, although his joke was in very poor taste and offensive to Jada, it didn't warrant a violent reaction. My opinion is - He should have got up, confronted CR verbally and asked him to apologise for his comments, so CR was then in a position to make a choice which would then be on him. He could have refused, and WS would have been the better man, or he could have done so and then they both had a woke man hug, everyone happy and everyone comes out looking good. Poor judgement on WS for his actions, and the waterworks afterwards slightly OTT. Jada Pinkett came out of this with dignity and grace, she rose above the offensive comment and let it go. She's a tough cookie. The level of "wokery" and the frankly, quote sickly sweet level of virtue signalling by all and sundry in Hollywood where anyone with an even slightly right of centrist view is vilified, cajoled and ostracized is hypocritical to the extreme. Here are people pontificating on social justice and how awful toxic white masculinity is, how terrible things are for trans people and those facing a class, sexual and colour struggle, meanwhile while clutching $120k (approx guess I got from a tabloid) "Gift bags", quaffing champagne and Oysters. Yet they witness a crime of violence and give the bloke a standing ovation for it.2 points

" The Bank of England has urged people to spend or deposit their paper £20 and £50 notes before the notes stop being legal tender in six months. The Bank is replacing the paper notes with more durable plastic ones featuring artist JMW Turner and mathematician Alan Turing. More than £17bn worth of paper notes remain in circulation, the Bank said. But after 30 September, people will not be able to use the paper notes for payments in shops and other businesses. From October, people with a UK bank account will still be able to deposit the paper notes into their account. Some Post Offices may also accept the old notes as payment for goods and services, or as a deposit to an account accessed via the postal service, the Bank said. The paper notes can also be exchanged by the Bank of England."2 points

Just "reminiscing" over this Viet gal that I was one of her "regulars" back in 2013-2015. Great gal, worked at one of the better massage parlors here in San Jose. She was cool too....would go out with all of us for dinner/drinks at times. She brought one of her friends one time...good lord she was fine too! No longer in the business, got her degree and now working in tech at Adobe.2 points

The thing is they're all actors. Nothing is actually 'real' for them. But the consequence is that real people in real life situations will model this behavior and there'll be more and more confrontation over minor issues. And...a lot of dipshits will film it trying to get a million 'likes.'2 points

Not sure if I've posted this yet, but I love this video as it features the same model as my last bike I owned for 6 years. By the way, top speed realistic is about 165mph. Can get 180 on the clock but it's over reading.2 points

F1 and snooker are the only sports I am interested in watching, so I don't have Sky Sports. I watch F1 on C4 but only the highlights which are broadcasted a few hours later, but the upside is not having to sit through any red flags debris clearance and stoppages. The adverts are a drag but they give me time to go get another beer from the refrigerator 😊 The problem with that is, I have to be careful not to look at anything, like the news and Google, etc, even here, that tell me who's won the race. I usually manage to do that, otherwise it spoils the excitement for me I thought Sunday's race was brilliant and very exciting toward the end. With Ferrari now in the mix and some of last years teams and drivers performing better, it's far less predictable, although it's only just the start of the seasons, with cars still developing under the new construction rules.2 points

Certainly that applies in the west - but I disagree with that sentiment when over 60 and in SEAsia. As long as you have all your money safely tucked away, then having someone to live with that will also look after you, is more and more important when you get very old (75-80+). There is a guy I know that is now in his 80s, and after decades of enjoying life in Thailand post two western divorces, he is desperate to find 'a good one' that will look after him as he gets older and sicker. I think he has left it too late. My advice is to not leave it too late. There are many good ones - you just gotta look in the right places - Pattaya bars and places aint likely to be one of them.2 points
