Zeb
Nick Dean gives a YouTube rundown on Bars anticipating opening on Wednesday 1st June. The formal announcement of the approval to do so is apparently scheduled to be made at 3pm Monday in Pattaya. Nick says he will do an update Monday once the RULES are announced and he will summarise which Bars are opening with updated info. So looks like *Game On* ! The first portion of the YouTube clip is about drone flying - also worth a look. Edited June 28, 2020 by Zeb

Popular Post Bazle
Just posted on PattayaTalk by Pete, the owner of PBG: We will be open again from 10 am to 12 midnight from Wednesday 1 July. The staff have been busy these last few days getting everything clean and ready to go. It is amazing how many things deteriorated or just broke over the three months we were closed. However everything appears good now and we are keen to get back into it. I have no idea if we can survive and I'm expecting a hard time to even break even with no tourists in town and Cov19 fears still very much on everyone's mind. We are going to give it our best shot though. I do believe the Beer Garden will be a safe venue with ocean on three sides and a nice sea breeze to blow that nasty virus away. Amazingly our liquor supplier agreed to take back old stock beer and replace it with new stock. Still can't quite believe that happened. So break out from that lock-down and come and enjoy yourself at the Pattaya Beer Garden. Feel free to pass on the invite to others on different websites or Facebook. I know there was some speculation here and elsewhere that we would never re-open. It was all fake news 🙂 555 9

Yes I had a drink with her in Nov , but the vodka tasted funny and she quietly confirmed it was copy .. the boss buys it in cheap ... so I didn't bother returning 😞 also had a bar on Soi 7 selling the same .... first time I've ever noticed , although I'm sure it happens a lot ... dcfc2007
The 'people with addresses' in Thailand has been confirmed as those with permanent residency. It's not people who have a condo rental contract as some people have been saying. Also reading on twitter some people saying that the rules will be completely different in Pattaya because of its municipality status. I'd be very surprised if that happened. forcebwithu
Made a circuit of a few of the popular bar areas around noon to gauge who will be opening tomorrow based on clean up activity going on today. First up, Triangle Bar who still have their privacy wrapping up. But behind the privacy screen you can see a new floor and stage, and spit shields to either protect the musicians from the customers, or vice versa. The bathrooms have also received a makeover. Not looking like Climax will be opening on the 1st. Same at its sister bar, Billabong. I was told they're looking to open mid-July, maybe on the 10th. Runway is also getting ready to open on the 1st. R-Con Beer Bar complex there was cleanup activity. But the Made In Thailand Beer Bar complex, nothing. The owner of Danny's Sports Bar posted elsewhere the MIT owners consulted with govt officials and decided it would be better to delay the opening of the complex. 2
Popular Post forcebwithu
Over at the New Plaza entrance off Buakhao, no activity. But in the main bar area a few bars were busy cleaning up. There's a fun group of bars on Soi 11 off of Buakhao, almost opposite of New Plaza that are also opening tomorrow. No surprise Drinking Street is showing no signs of life. No action at Action Street. Thank Bar on Buakhao near Soi 15 looks like it will open tomorrow. The chain comes off the beer coolers at Nikom tomorrow. Looks like Pook Plaza will be opening too. No activity at Easy R-Con and its two sister bars. Pattaya Beer Garden will be opening on the 1st. And no picture series of Pattaya bars would be complete without a few pics of Mr Egg welcoming you to his bar, Le Pub. 10 3 1
