forcebwithu
Living on a canal barge looks appealing. Any idea what kind of costs are involved?

That was my number one choice a few years ago when I had a chunk of money. Buy a barge, put it in a permanent mooring connected to facilities/services, next to a pub, rent it out and it would also give me a residence in UK. Unfortunately there were no moorings available and I was at the end of a very very long waiting list!

I have tended, rightly or wrongly, to stay away from Roundhay Park, as it is a little too close to the Leeds 7 Chapeltown area. Whilst parts of Roundhay are very nice with many nice properties, the city side is not so nice and borders on Chapeltown which is an inner city area with high crime rates. I used to stay in a mate's house in Roundhay in the 70s whenever Leeds had a home game.

john luke
A visit to the National Railways Museum at York. The RF 16 (Non-L Series) lens was used to take some of these shots. Previously at this location, I had an issue with noise on the images, however this time I have kept the ISO at 400 or below.
