I it is then the place just to the left o it must be Cheers which my nrother-in-law had since 1988 until the sold it a few years ago. I used to sit out front of Cheers nearly everyday for a year in 2001/2002. Saw some sights in Soi Pattayaland 2 and of the course the Penthouse hotel. Google Street View is a great resource for taking a trip down memory lane, although not as far back as 2001/2002. Oct 2012 we can see Cheers Aug 2016 Palmers is on the soi Jan 2019 both Cheers and Palmers are gone Feb 2022 looks almost like what I saw this morning. Don't think the camera was fully awake when I took this first pic of what looks to be a new food place within spitting distance of @Yesitisdakid's home turf. And speak of the devil, who should I spy off in the distance, but the Pretty Bitch himself leaving happy soi dogs in his wake. They've run a water line under the road to the the vacant land opposite Nirun. By chance I took this picture from the same spot one year ago. Unfortunately the Le Pub sign was a casualty of the clean up. Building work starting at the old Babydolls Electric Blue block Soi 15........W/S....... This place I believe was Pacha's until recently, popped in for a look last night ordered a draught beer, one came up, very small glass, and half beer and half foam, asked politely for it to be topped up which it was with ice.....lol......... Sadly a fail for me......I was told a Japanese gentleman is now the owner/running it........ Nothing going on on these 2 places..... Most of the bars are dead in Tree Town......... If they're aiming for a sterile, uninspiring atmosphere they've certainly achieved that with the removal of the signs. From TPN, what they labeled as a before and after picture, although to be fair they're taken from different spots. But you get the idea of how dark and dreary WS is now without the signs. The work on burying utility lines is also moving south on 2nd Rd. @Yesitisdakid has a new place to do his laundry.
