I have the free version of VPN ZenMate, but it slows the connection down so much I only use it when needed. Think that's why most, as you wrote, can't be arsed to use a VPN.

I did turn it on and could see the video you posted, "20 Days in Mariupol (full documentary) | FRONTLINE and The Associated Press". I then plugged the URL into the Region Restriction Checker and got this result. As you can see the video is restricted to N. America and Puerto Rico.

I pay monthly for Nord. I believe it is around $12/month. Worth it to me, maybe not for others.

Free is usually shit.

f**k sake sort yourself out, ya poof!

I used to work at Coty's on the Great West Road, West London (part of Pfizer). We made Hai Karate there, I used to deliver the bottles to the ladies in the perfume department. That was back in 1972.

Old ladies used to tell me on the bus, they knew where I worked, I smelled of perfume and used to be covered in talc.

You were the main topic of conversation down the bingo hall!

I got attacked by 2 of the old ladies in the factory one time. The store room was at the end of the perfume department and through the rubber doors was a one way deal, no exit but back out through the rubber doors. 2 old dears grabbed me and tried to take my clothes off, I was scared beyond scared, they were probably only 35 years old, I was 17.

I was scarred for life, think I will grab me a 'me too' moment for for some pay back , though the old dears are probably 'brown bread' now..

Looking out of my living room window at yet another pathetic day of almost non-stop drizzle and unbroken really low down cloud scudding from right to left.

And its cold.

And miserable.

And its 3:10pm and very soon it will be dark enough to justify turning on the light.

And the nights will keep getting longer until the back end of December after which we will be snowed in until March by which time I will have returned and promise not to start moaning about the heat and humidity.

And its 3:15pm now and definitely getting dark!

And I just turned on the lights because I cannot see the keyboard.

So learning that it was NOT terrorism. A man and his better half travelled a fair way to see KISS in Ottawa, one of the members-not Gene- was ill and it was cancelled last minute. A day later, his Bentley is going 100 mph approaching a border crossing and goes airborne, killing them both…..something about a casino, either he lost big OR was heading to the one in Niagara. Messed up story…

Watching breaking news……Canada border Services has closed at least 4 crossings with the USA after a car exploded on the bridge to Niagara Falls. Terrorism? Don’t know yet….

Yep.... just saw that story. Tragic.

I avoid travelling on holidays like the plauge. People are idiots.

Our first ever high intensity heatwave for November..

Outlook for the next few days 39, 40, 38, 38, 38, 33.

Gunna be a long hot summer.

Been a hectic 30 hours. Massive bushfire started about lunchtime yesterday. 40 degree heat, less than 10% humidity, strong gusty winds and no rain for nearly 2 months.

Firefighters stopped the fire just across the road from my property. Got some ash and embers but no flames.

Same conditions tomorrow.

Picture grab from the TV news.

Just written a complaint to PG about their new offering of PG Tips.

It appears they have spent about £50m, and 2 years, on a consultancy program resulting in changing the bag to a new flat shape. Reason being, after all that money being spent, they have found that people only brew their tea bag for 30 seconds or less and the new flat tea bag is up to the task.

Well, not for me. I liked the pyramids, I liked the taste. Now, I don't like the shape and the taste, for me, has changed for the worse. I actually brew my bag longer, in fact some times leaving it in my Mighty Mug.

I am quite sad, as after drinking PG for 61 years, I may need to move my allegiances.
