I have seen ghosts before mate. The most memorable being in The Mai Ping Hotel in CM !!1 point

Is this solved? Common signs of ghosts: 1. Feeling a wave of cold air come over you 2. Seeing unexplained movement out of the corner of your eye Strange sounds 3. Lights flickering and electronics turning on and off on their own 4. Difficulty sleeping and strange dreams 5. Doors opening on their own 6. Waves of dread1 point

Yeh , that sort of cold! Totally unexpected after months of extreme heat! I've just been watering the shrubs and started thinking that if I was 12 years old again back home living Dorset I'd do a packed lunch and set off to Sandbanks on my bike to watch the foreign girls going topless .....1 point

I guess so, the wine is superb, so much so that after watching the Bee keeper I am going to open another bottle and watch Top Gun 2. Likely fall asleep in the chair leaving some for tomorrow. LOL1 point

Agreed. I tried watching a dubbed version of "Babylon Berlin" (great show) (2017) IMDB 8.4 that was dubbed into English and it was just not watchable. I switched to subtitles and it was fascinating. I tried watching "Peaky Blinders" without subs and I had no idea what was going on. With subs it was a great watch.1 point

I would like to think you are correct because Soi Buakhao is incredibly dangerous for pedestrians. However, I suspect you are not. The motorcyclists would just drive more quickly if they don't have anything coming in the opposite direction.1 point

How cool is that. We're both using the same username. Ok, since nothing happens there's a chance It could be they did a code update to the webpage and you have a copy of the old page's code in cache. That can cause the issue you're experiencing. If that's the case then clearing the browser's cache and cookies should work. To do that, follow the steps in the link below for the browser you're using. https://its.uiowa.edu/support/article/7191 point

That's another good point, watering is best done in the early morning or evening hours.1 point

Boris Johnson turned away from polling station after forgetting ID London: Former British prime minister Boris Johnson was turned away from a polling station when trying to cast his vote in the local elections after he forgot to bring acceptable photo ID. Johnson, who introduced the contentious new laws mandating photo ID when voting while he was in Downing Street, was reportedly trying to cast his ballot in South Oxfordshire, where a police and crime commissioner for the Thames Valley was being selected. https://www.watoday.com.au/world/europe/boris-johnson-turned-away-from-polling-station-after-forgetting-id-20240503-p5foln.html1 point

Certainly not when we done it. Picked from the hotel, straight to the boat. Nice food, disco, nice views. It was around the time of the Gangnam style tune. There was loads of Koreans on the boat, the tune came on, they all went nuts on the dance floor, was hilarious. Maybe depends who you book with. But we've actually been thinking of doing it again. Was definitely good when we did it, though it was when I got married, over 10 years ago.1 point

Bit leftfield this topic, but it's odd how stress affects all of us. Up until my recent trip to Thailand I was under a fair bit of it, basically, lack of sleep, caring for my Dad and other pressures. Some things stress people differently. For example, a mate at work stresses to hell and back when he is on nights and his Mrs and kids are alone at home. That's fair enough, but other blokes don't worry about that aspect of their lives, whereas another guy worries about being on site late, when me (as the Team leader) really doesn't mind at all if a bloke is 30 mins late as long as he gives a heads up so I can cover him. I've told him so, but he still worries. But the signs. The signs. I was getting "earworms" - songs that I couldn't get out of my head for hours and hours, which in turn stopped me sleeping. Also repetitive dreams, not the normal ones of @Nightcrawler dressed as a clown, chasing me through a playground with an erection, but other , really mundane stuff which kept repeating itself. Then, a 3 week trip to Thailand where my sleep patterns went back to normal and the stress stopped instantly, because I couldn't do anything about it. The "earworms" stopped, the dreams stopped and the stress went to zero (although BP took a while to settle down). I now recognise the signs and can action them accordingly. Does anyone else have signs of stress that they recognise and can sort out?.0 points

I have a bad habit of slicing a finger at the worst possible time. Also cracking my head open on a tree limb, door or other object. Doesn't hurt much but dealing with the blood is an issue. I will never forget one night in Hong Kong. Was having a brilliant drunk fest at a live music bar. As I approached the toilet the door flew open just as I was bending down to open it. Split open my forehead, blood splattering everywhere. Luckily this happened at the end of the last set. Someone helped me to stop the blood and I was good to go. I still wanted to continue to drink and hit a girlie bar. The bouncers at the other bar would not allow me in, and they were dickheads about it. Suggesting I had been fighting.0 points
