I've noticed recently that they've been changing the layout of stuff on the website, which is confusing to say the least. A month or so back, after the website simply refused to let me send money anywhere but to myself, I sent them a very strongly worded e-mail with various references to onanist chimpanzees and programmers with an excessive Oedipus complex. I kind of thought they might have banned me for that, but no, the app worked fine. It's probably their 16-year old website manager taking 30 minutes off playing Call of Duty to muck up some code that was working perfectly well before. Or else they're just following the likes of SCB and trying to abandon the website so they only have to maintain the app. Remind me how many hundreds of millions they made in profit last year, they must really feel the need to save on expenses. lol

A couple of questions to clarify the problem you're having. Are you getting any kind of message after you attempt to log in? Is it a case that after you click login nothing happens? If yes, try clearing your browser's cache and cookies. Are you using a bookmark to the login screen? If yes, try starting from Wise's home page and click on the link to the log in page from the home page.

Flew Ethihad Abu Dhabi to BKK today. 2.5 hour lay off and then had to wait ages for a crappy little shuttle bus. An hour late taking off, but they have built so much slack into the timetable it was on time!!! Thought the seats, entertainment system and food were excellent. Going to try Emirates next time. The transfer was so shambolic I'd be loathed to use them again. 2.5 hour lay over and you still don't get an air bridge. Thai airways at BKK way better at shuttling passengers.

Just finished binge watching the last three episodes of Shogun. I thought episodes 8 & 9 were outstanding. Both I would rate 9 stars. The final episode was almost as good as 8 & 9. Outstanding performances all around by all the actors. Sure hope they continue the series with another season.

With my hearing loss I need them too, especially if there are heavy accents involved. Most of the time I can pick up enough of what's said that I can follow along. But for important dialog to the plot that I can't understand I'll turn on subtitles for the scene. The reason I don't keep subtitles on all the time is I find it distracting and detracting from the background scenery.

For me when in the village it is a car. I bought one 13 years ago but Thai brother in law has totally f***d it. On a recent trip back wifey was told we could borrow a car whenever we needed one and had no need to rent one, it worked out like this: where you want to go? Oh great I will come to, oh and my sister wants to come, she will be here soon. An hour later eight of us are now squeezed into the vehicle finally set to leave. we get in to town and our half hour grocery run takes two hours because everyone wants to go somewhere different. And then joy of joys we get to buy them all lunch. 4 hours gone Never again! Last time we had a rental car for the whole trip and it worked like this: ”I’m going to Lotus” get in car and drive to shop. Go into shop and buy what I want. drive home 45 minutes maximum. Oh yes , brother in law is hoping for a new car to appear. I will not paying for it
