Flashing red lights at 18.00 hrs but barriers between businesses removed, couldn't make this up, could you......

The barricading of the footpath was another of their not well thought out solutions. All it did was push pedestrians on to the road causing traffic backups not to mention the safety issue of mixing pedestrians with vehicle traffic.

I'd be interested to hear from barowners like @misteregg how many girls does he think will report for duty in the first week the bars open. Does he say some of the girls waiting to see if the number of tourists improve?

With the aged expat population.......Any girl that hooks up with a guy under 60-65  can now brag how she got a young one......

Lol.

So predictable.

The cops drive down khao san road every night at about midnight to enforce closing times.

All the bars turn off the music as the cop car passes, but by the time the cops are at bottom of the road, the party is going again.

It's all for show.

😂

Not sure but not many. We can’t afford to employ that many anyway so it works out ok. Many just want to freelance.

And that could be the answer for many bars, maybe a core group on salary and the rest freelance

That's how a lot of bars already operate. Most 'staff' are usually freelancers or girls on agency contracts.
