Guess who's back?.

No, not Slim Shady, but BSA!!.

And rather handsome it is.

Around £6,000 according to reports. So competitively priced.

Overall I think they did a great job on this bike and I'll bet it's pleasant to ride, but I sure don't like that ugly radiator hanging off the front....

Yeah, it's a shame, but unfortunately the EU emissions law's dictate the death of most air cooled engines from new bikes in Europe.

Small price to pay though.

If I was a young man again I would love to have one of these "super-motard" type bikes - the ultimate urban two-wheeled weapon; you can slide them, run them up/down staircases and do all kinds of other fun stunts with them because of their light weight, long travel suspension, dirt bike steering geometry and wide handlebars. I saw a young fellow ripping around our town a couple of years ago on a Suzuki 400M and he was having a blast with it.

I hate Harleys, horrible things, looks like a two wheeled camper van imo

Through personal experience of the bastard things, i can but agree with your dislike of them.

But they do have a huge global following / fan base !!

HD's marketing department, it has to be said, are one of the best in the world. To market something which is so unfit for the purpose, is expensive and lacks in so many important areas and STILL be able to sell many many units, well i can only congratulate them......

In my humble opinion, most people buy them as a fashion accessory rather than actually using them to tour continents on  ( that's assuming the bloody thing does not break down on route ). One does see the occasional HD with a few miles/klms on, but the majority have very little on the odometer in relation to their age.....
