It always amazes me how guys are comfortable riding bikes in that seated position.

What position would you suggest ???

The above stance is far more comfortable than the forward leaning sports bike position, plus not having a screen fitted he is in "clean air" and not subject to any of the buffeting that most screens produce.

His footpegs look a tad high, but that's partly due to the low height of the motorcycle, i would imagine he would be comfortable enough to ride all day long........also he would get many an opportunity to stretch his legs whilst re-fueling due to having a small tank fitted.

You just answered the question.  His leg position with his ass so low and his feet so high puts an unusual bend in the legs that isn't natural. I find this very uncomfortable especially as an older fart. Lol.

A full on sports bike with your knees up by your elbows isn't too comfortable for this old fart but I love it.

I agree with you there mate, i'm not so young myself.......It's certainly not a 'natural' position.

But he's likely more concerned with looking 'cool'  ( in his own mind !! ) Plus if he's of younger years he will be ok....

I have some young guys in my street who sell new sports bikes, Ducati, BMW, Kawasaki, Suzi etc. Every time they start up my old heart skips a beat so I wandered down for a look. Lovely guys, quite happy to chat and let me sit on them..... but this 75 year old body doesnt bend well anymore so they will remain a dream.

Not only that Bigg, but the brain does not work with the same lightning reaction and even more importantly, our sense of self preservation is of a far higher level than that of our youth.

When we were young we were invincible   ( in our minds )....

The worst for me is the forward pegs you see on most Harleys.

Not only does it make it really uncomfortable leaning into the wind but I don't think having your feet sticking out in front of you will make handling the bike any easier.

I road tested a V-Rod once while mine was having some work done on it at a stealership & after an hour it was bloody awful.

Not my photo, but one of my mates ribs me for taking pics of bikes if I see them, he sent me this this week as he spotted it outside his local pub. No idea what it is but sure one of you will probably know.
