Is that the missus or girlfriend sitting on the grass in the background?

Nobody I knew.

I forget what the deal was with the bike and the women, but IIRC for a donation to whatever charity they were pushing you could have your picture taken with the bikini clad women. Not a bad idea of raising money, but wonder how that would fly now in woke America.

My specialist knowledge about motor cycles is very close to nil.  This may be a great machine or an ordinary machine painted in bright and contrasting colours.

There are some nice looking bikes out there and I imagine fun to ride, but too bad they put the modified pipes on them to make them as loud as possible.

Saw in the news of late the BIB are once again cracking down on street racing, and will cut the modified pipes off the racers. Too bad they don't do the same for the non-racing bikes along with a fine. Low hanging fruit and easy money for the BIB.

Bog standard Z400. About 45hp or so, so good for probably about 110mph roughly. Stopped selling them new in the UK this year and were about £5000.

Great bike for the newer riders or a cheap, light town commuter.

It's a Kwak so I'm biased anyway. 😀

There are some ugly standard silencers around and I never like the rear mudguard attached to the swinging arm, other than that, a good commuter or touring bike.

Nothing much more hideous than the latest Gixxer 1000 one. Fucking dustbin size monstrosity. Only saving grace is the cat etc is all in it unlike most others, so you just change the can, no link pipe etc.

All these sighted on the walk to and from Naklua today.  Some may be sheep in wolves clothing, however.  The Fino at the end is definitely not a wolf.

All small capacity engine's in the sports style bikes, usually 150cc in the Asian markets. We get the 125cc versions in the UK.All you really need in Asian cities with the congestion unless you do longer distance riding.

When I first started visiting Thailand I can remember being impressed by all of the little "hot rod" sport bikes - mostly 2-strokes - that were zipping around the streets, machines that disappeared from our western markets years ago or never made it there in the first place...

Suzuki's line up from the recent annual EICMA show in Germany, where manufacturers unveil their line ups for the coming year. Best Suzuki range in a long time.

Love the 2 GSX-S1000 models in blue and white GP colours and red and black SERT colours, they look properly smart.
