Bought my Son-in-Law a Christmas present yesterday morning.

   After dinner last night I need to buy him a new one! 🤣

That's usually a nice drop of port. My treat xmas day was 2 bottles of vintage port. One got decanted Xmas eve and the other Xmas day.

I stopped decanting wine after I also bought myself a very expensive bottle of Taylor's vintage port for Christmas. I took a modest sip straight from the bottle and it was fine. Less than 48 hours later it was "sour"  from the decanter.

My best guess was that I forgot to steralise the glass stopper. Or maybe just not good enough to the decanter itself.

Something not right there, Vintage port doesn't go off that quick.
