Canada, I fly into Montreal and fish on the St Lawrence down past Cornwall dam and the Islands around Ingleside.

Ahhhh, cool. Right on the 20/401 too, easy drive I guess as YUL is west of the city. Only drove to Toronto once, the 401 made it a 5 hour drive home, but Dad always hated that city. Well, if you attend the race, let me know, Mom does an AirBnb a 10 minute drive to the “Tube station” that takes you right to the track. I think I mentioned on Secrets that I drove it at 19 when I missed a turn for the casino parking......I was like “WTF are those stacks of white and red tires doing there? “ Was wintertime, so I was going like 25mph lol

Amazing that Grosjean walked away from that crash. Even more amazing it appears he suffered only minor burns and injuries.

This video shows the entire crash from above.

I watched the highlights on Ch 4 (Sunday evening UK) and at the end of the programme they filmed Grosjean sat up in the hospital bed giving an interview. Amazing.

I would not be surprised to see him back for the last 2 races. These drivers usually like to get right back in the saddle after accidents, although this one has probably shaken him up a lot.  Hass will be racing to build another car out of spare parts for this weekend coming. They have a chassis but only about 4 days to build. They have a replacement driver too.

Hamilton out of the next race with the Covey.

Whoever takes over should obviously grab pole and win the race .... because it's all down to the car .. 😉

just as well the title is already decided, would have been terrible for it to be decided by Covid

George Russell tops FP2 also. Interesting that the Mercedes reserve driver is actually Stoffel Vandorne but Toto Wolfe chose to bring in Russell.

Only sensible choice for Wolfe and I rate Russell quite highly and always thought Vandorne was a bit of a mobile chicane when he in the McLaren. For me all the pressure is on Bottas here not Russell, it's not going to look at all good for Bottas if Russell comes in and out qualifies him and maybe even finishes higher than him in the race.
