What they had been doing for the completed parts of the soi 15 is put in a big concrete block every so many meters and that block would have a drain constructed on top and a big pipe on either end. So it would serve as a junction point. I have not seen any big concrete blocks for this resumed construction. Could the small pipe be placed upwards and above it they will construct a drain? So this pipe section will join two big plastic pipes as well as offering a drain into the big pipes? It would be faster than the big concrete block idea but not a sturdy.... I guess we'll see. You might be correct, but from memory, don't the plans indicate two pipes, one big and one small, along the length that's already been completed? I think if you peer down down of those concrete cubes you can see that they are linked...is this t-piece an easier way of linking the big and small pipes?, without the need for the concrete cube? forcebwithu Posted July 12, 2023 Share Posted July 12, 2023 One danger I noticed with the new pavers on the north end of the beach footpath is if you're walking south it's not obvious the footpath has a drop off with two steps down. The cone on the left helps, but what they really should have done is use a solid line of colored pavers on the top edge. Think this guy will be waiting a long time to use the shower. The fancy "5G" display in use. Being the CC that I am, I'm thinking printing up and hanging a banner for different events would be just as effective, look just as good, and be a hell of a lot cheaper. But then the brown envelopes would be a lot lighter too. The footpath at the intersection of Klang is getting a makeover. Before, vehicles coming from Jomtien and wanting to go to the Designer Outlet Centre could just turn right. Now the geniuses in City Hall have blocked off that option so, instead, everyone has to go to the traffic lights at Suk and do a U-turn. Given the lousy turning circle of many of the larger SUV's and trucks, they perform the manoeuvre very slowly, blocking all the traffic wanting to simply turn right onto Suk. What possible reason is needed for so many? Maybe this guy knows....lol Here is another one, one block away... Man look at the massive power feeding into this one.... I am telling you guys the whole beach vibe seems to be getting worse and worse....I think the lack of people there agree.... Sure Pattaya Beach has always been a shitty little beach but before it was a fun shitty beach....The fun factor seems to be dropping year by year ever since 2013 when the beach got whacked... The 5G Base Station in the pic looks a lot like the housing at the top of the pole in your pic. The entrance to the dirt course is a fairly easy pockmarked concrete surface. Progressing to a moderately challenging pot hole slalom. With a very challenging exit at the end. I like the forward thinking of the city planners, turning Pattaya into a world class mtn bike destination. 🚵♂️👍 Someone did a piss poor job on the water pipe repair. There are still a lot of imperfections in the new roadway that I know to avoid on my motorbike. I consider this small area one of the very last really nice beaches left in all of Pattaya/Jomtien.... These pictures are not exactly road work or construction work, but I think these pictures should go with the other beach road picture as a reminder of how great beach road could be again someday... Plus you never know when this special area will get whacked like all the other beaches around here.....
