Le Pub is a beer bar situated on the Soi Diamond walkway between Second Rd and Walking St. We open between 4pm till 4am Mon, Tuesday and Wednesday and 2pm till 4am Thurs, Fri, Saturday and Sunday. There's a happy hour from open till 7pm. Currently we have about 15 ladies working and look forward to meeting you. Sit and enjoy people watching on the soi at the entrance to the bar or go inside and enjoy the aircon comfort. We have pool table and the best wifi in Pattaya with three service providers. we play music videos from the 70s to the present day at a sensible volume level. When there's live sport we feature that too on four tv's, three 55 inch and one massive 75 inch screens. Featured sports include AFL, NRL Premiership rugby and rugby Internationals, golf, cricket, NFL and college football. Premier League football, La Liga football and f1 is shown in new 4K Ultra HD resolution. The coffee we serve is made from imported Lavaza beans, freshly ground. I take a lot of time and effort making sure the beer and soft drinks are VERY cold ( not the usual Pattaya luke warm) and we do not sell copy spirits anywhere. All our spirits and genuine branded originals. Currently we sell draught imported cider but soon we will be selling another two draught products (think a stout from Ireland and a expensive beer from Belgium) Finally our toilets are spotlessly clean and you can dry your hands with either paper towels or my Dyson airblade hand dryer. Soon we will be introducing wireless charging pads throughout the bar. I hope you can come down and say hello if you are hitting Walking St. You won't be paying Walking St rip-off prices, I keep them as low as I can. I've posted some photos of my current line up. Be kind as I'm not a gogo full of drop dead gorgeous spinners, I'm a beer bar but my bar fines and lady drinks reflect that. All Thailand 247 members are welcome any time.4 points

Nah, just some German who popped in to threaten my cook saying he was going to cut her throat. Sawaraboom took him away. And one English guy (ex marine 😀) who thought it appropriate to start smashing the place up. Cops took him away once we released our knees from his throat. Other than that no issues with English guys who were probably at least 30% of Nessies client base. Some great Scottish/English banter. One Scottish guy thrown out because he took exception to 3 English guys watching, I think, England v Moldova on our TV, Euro championship game I think.3 points

Forgot to say, I am often seeing white Aussie chicks, young and middle aged, here in Bali with plenty ugly monocolor tattoos. Looks horrible on their white skin, and I cant imagine how they will look at 50.... Well, yes I can, as there are plenty of that categorie also ! Fat, white, tattood....horrible.2 points

Not keen on them. Small, Buddha related ones on shoulders or backs are ok, but the larger ones.... not for me.2 points

Owner was dodgy. I used to sit at Pitini's across the road and watch the owner kick lumps outta anyone passing wearing an England top. And we won't even mention the other mad Scot who had it a few owners later ...2 points

I really love the toilets and and "She Sells Sanctuary" by The Cult is on the playlist. The girls are friendly and not pushy. I really enjoy every visit, especially when young Phil is in the house.1 point

If it’s simple ones like arrows pointing me to all the important bits, then I’m fine with that, anything else, especially on darkish skin looks awful IMHO. ☹️1 point

As Mike said it is easy to use Tuk Tuks, they are relatively cheap compared to the same services in such cities as Phuket and Koh Samui. Easy to walk around the main areas and along the long beach. Depending also on what standard of hotel you stay at you may find a shuttle service into town, you may need to take a taxi or Tuk Tuk back to your residence if a late owl. Bikes are relatively cheap to hire, I know of deals at 2000 baht a month but no more than 3000 baht. Not sure if you drive or ride bikes. Getting to Hua Hin is also relatively easy by bus from Swampy or Pattaya. You also have the boat to get from Pattaya to Hua Hin across the gulf.1 point

I think it was inevitable that the sex playground of the 90s and early 2000's would change because Thailand is no longer the third world country it once was. Now 26th biggest economy in the world and a very strong currency. Jobs are everywhere and girls who want to work bar getting harder to find. Personally I like the mixture of modern and old style. Sex will always be here in Pattaya in some shape or form.1 point

They are a real turnoff for me, especially those that cover large parts of the body, Whilst they maybe fashionable now, that may not be the case in the future, but possible by then they can be removed more successfully than at present. I call them "tramp stamps". 2 things that turn me off together are fake breasts and tramp stamps. Seen a lot of that recently in gogo bars, along with nose jobs and piercings 😃1 point

Next Installment : 20 Oct 2017 Now Kuta, is a bit of a hectic and noisy lifestyle, mainly for young tourist (80% Aussies) out to party… Not the kind of places I want to live in as a pensioner, besides that it is rather expensive. To note that contrary to Pattaya or Phuket, about all the tourist are here with family or friends and not for pussy hunting. During our 3 stays here I noted that I nearly never saw an Indo girl with a Westerner. Often in hotel or restaurants Miss Indo is the only Indo girl, except for the staff. In 95% of the cases this is no problem at all, but there were a few times where she was looked at by the locals with lack of smile… So after 3 days in Kuta, off to Sanur, a small beach resort about 30 min from there. Lovely place, nice beach, a impressive numbers of restaurants (and good), clientele a lot of retired / senior people. We explored the place during our last trip, and after now a week here, I must say I am in love with the place. A few pics of the beach : This is also a paradise for food lovers, we have been eating out every lunch and dinner since 5 days and not had one bad meal. A few pics of some of the food : One of the best pizzas I had since VERY long time, generous toppings and perfectly crusty bread. Had it 2 days in a row.... Some Guinness beef stew yesterday evening, nice band playing in the back. The main drag is lined with restaurants over a long distance. Traffic is light and not chaotic, very quiete after 8 pm1 point
