Deep fried shrimp and squid and homemade chips this is going to be good

3 of us out for dinner. I wasn't very hungry, so just had satay chicken. Nice little plate of fruit given free after is rather nice.

Chicken Penang for me and chrispy pork with some kind of veg for her.

Obvious thing to do, 15 minutes to before a dentist appointment....

Few pics of my gal pal Miss "Arm". Bachelors Degree in Finance. Works at "Farmhouse" big food distributor at their main facility here in Minburi. Of course when taking a pic of any of these gals they tell you "Oh I look terrible" They are all quick to show you some "good pics" of themselves too. She told me to wait, she will be back in a minute or so, goes to her locker, brings her Ipad out to me and shows me some pics of her and her girlfriends dressed to the 9's. Clubbing photos from the previous weekend I was shown....damn, nice. I mean seriously She tells me she goes out with her friends for dinner, then they go over to this club locally here. I have seen this place at night here, place is huge, big crowds etc right? I asked her "So how much do drinks cost at this place"? She pulls me close to her, tells me " Mike, I don't know, we never have to buy drinks" with this big grin on her face. Then she asks me "If you saw me here, would you buy me a drink"? I told her " Of course, then we go back to my house later for a little cardio right"? She said "Maybe...." Great gals at this gym...

Bought the mother in law tongue plant you mentioned @Derek Dangleberries She had sold out before getting some more yesterday. Will take it to Jan this evening.

I bought a cheese selection box from M&S yesterday for Christmas, though will be having it with crackers instead of port. 😀

Probably my favourite tipple, every Xmas I would treat myself to 2 bottles of vintage port, decant it and on xmas day the family would all sit together to open presents and toast the day. The rest would be for me to consume after dinner and into the night.

Just got back from town with this little number for Christmas from M&S. Got to get some decent cheese now.

Almost spot on - there was 11 of us and we shared 8 bottles and 3 of which were that exact wine !!

Agree with mr stillearly, doesn't appear to have been open for the past 2 weeks when I've passed through. The "bar" does still appear to be connected to electricity though, as people keep tripping over the cable. The green astroturf swirl trip hazards have now been removed. There was an ice cream caravan next to the beer van, but that disappeared before I could sample their wares.

M&S Own brand Stilton is to bloody die for. Not joking, put a wedge of that in front of me with some Jacob's and I'll trough the lot.

Thanks for posting, that looks perfect for me. The wife and little one also love the Wensleydale and cranberries. They got a love for that cheese after visiting the Wensleydale cheese factory in Hawes in Yorkshire. If ever in the vicinity of Hawes and hungry, make a detour to the shop at the factory as they have all their cheese selections on show and you can nibble free of charge as you go around. They must have at least 30 types of cheese which is added to around the Christmas period. You will not be hungry afterwards.

Starting to get ready to go to work for the next three nights - I'm on for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for the first three weekends of this month, and then four nights through the Xmas weekend with my last shift being on Boxing Day and that will be it for this year and I'll be on the plane a couple of weeks later. I don't mind working through the weekends, I drive around all night and get a kick out of watching all of the seasonal police action and knowing I have nothing to worry about; ditto for the Xmas weekend itself, it doesn't mean much to me - let the married guys enjoy the day with their families, I'm happy to fill in for them.

We have the all-you-can-eat in 2 hours menu ..... well worth the price !

I would eat in Zen in Central Festival on a regular basis in Pattaya.

I am off to Centrun later to buy some port too .... and meet up with my daughter for scoff in Zen !! I'm hoping there is some Hard Chard in the fridge in TOPS, nice and cold ready to take upstairs too !!

My daughter celebrating her escape from a week of scout camp with only a hurt leg, a rash on one arm, and a swollen ear from a bug bite. She decided honey cake and ice cream would fill the bill. Another one meal day for me.

Five weeks ago , myself and a friend had a couple of great nights in there , , I should have barfined ... I went back a few days ago and it was dire , one drink and gone ... its amazing how quickly these places change ... and all down to the girls working on any particular night .. only a few places in Patts, seem to achieve consistency on a long term basis
