My condo is on the 6th floor so its the perfect height for Pigeons... Pigeons use to hang out on my balcony and shit all over the place... I found these swirly reflective things on Lazada.... They said these were Pigeon deterrents... I had Low Low expectations they would work.... But let me tell you Pigeons are absolutely terrified of these things.... Not a single Pigeon has been on my balcony since I put them up...

It's things like this that I really miss when back in farang-land... From the broken down motorbike lady...

Just been talking to Watford hospital & my mum was discharged this afternoon & is back in her care home & seemingly quite happy.

Italian Thai Construction company is in financial difficulty so you never know perhaps we will be looking at 47 and upwards. I was going to mention this last week but didn't think it was too significant ..... M'Lady's 40 year old son had an enforced pay cut last week as did his colleagues and his friends working for a different company. This is EXACTLY what happened when I was working in Bangkok in '97 leading up to the crash.... Major construction companies defaulting to their contractors, and employees in totally unrelated businesses taking enforced pay cuts. Good for the exchange rate and good for tourism ?????

well finally caught upwith a long time lady who worked in classrooms back in day shes in her late 30s still slim as hell one tattoo on her arm.works in living dolls had a chat a few drinks and catch up.then dropped bombshell living dolls haas been bought by a indian guy or company so last night 14th march.all staff are moving to sensations from the 15th march.so looks like another one gone to the indians no idea what they will turn it into though

Yep, and the GF seems to have even greater debt woes than usual and, being the sensitive, supportive type that I am, I told her to fix it herself, I'm not bailing her out again. The gardener wanted to borrow 40K Baht off me a few months ago as her new office supplies business needed capital. I said no. Then a week ago she was trying to borrow money from me to get her phone fixed, and again I said no. So she's got two businesses at least that I know of, yet she can't afford to get her phone repaired? Of course, in a country of 70 million, a couple of anecdotal tales like that mean nothing, but they didn't used to be as disorganised and insolvent. My guess is they're listening to complete crap advice on social media and losing their money that way. Which on its own is irrelevant, but scale it up by the millions of people who might be in similar situations and the banks and country could have a serious problem.

As I am not working I try to do a minimum of 10km a day, but this week it has been fairly rainy so not so easy to hit my regular target. Basically has been 45 to 60 minutes on the treadmill where usually I’d do more outdoor walking as well.

Just got off of the phone to my older brother.We have not spoken or met for the last 5 or 6 years, for various reasons,that I won't go into, but I am so glad that I called him today. . We are meeting next week and so much to talk about. Its a huge weight off of of my mind and the guilt for not staying in touch. We are very much alike and it was almost like having a conversation with myself, lol.

Anyone that hacked my 24/7 account would get nothing more than loads of PM's from @Lemondropkid of ladyboys in various states of undress. Then loads of PM's from me back saying what he does in Hua Hin is up to him, but if he doesn't stop sending the naked pics i'm getting the Police involved. Apart from that, there's a lot more for a hacker to look at or steal! I'm sure Lemons would send pics of latest ladyboy squeezes to whomever anyway ...

As far as I aware, we have never been hacked. Whatever PA may decide to is up to them.

@Stillearly's an Admin, Jesus Christ we're doomed now I tells ya! I don't see any need or issue with password changes here TBH. If people want to change their password they can, at any time. I'm fine with mine. I personally don't use PA, I don't use any other Thai forum but this one.

Devon and Cornwall Councils were going to have a joint music festival with classic 70s and 80s bands.....but it had to be cancelled.... They couldn't decide if The Jam or Cream should go on first.

In years gone by I have always stayed a week in the Queen Vic. I'd start off with one week at Shhhhh. Then the QV. Then Billabong ( before it got so damn noisy)Then a week on Soi8. I liked staying in different locations as they are all have different atmospheres.

I was just about to go to bed at about 11.50 last night when I had a call from my mums care home,they wanted my permission to call an ambulance for her as her lower legs & feet had swollen up badly in the last 24hrs. I'll have to wait until it's 8am to call them back for an update.There was a report in the local rag yesterday that Watford General Hospitals phone lines had been down for 3 days.WGH is a shithole,the staff are lovely but the hospital needs pulling down. She had DVT a couple of years ago in her right leg. That bout of Delhi Belly from Hemingways the night before came in useful....at least I was sober at 11.50pm.

In this new photo of the Las Vegas bar complex it sure looks very narrow each of those bars look like you could only get six or seven stools comfortably at the bar and if you did that on both sides that takes away even more from the center area I think it's going to be very crowded if they try to put more than one row of tables down the middle being interesting concept
