Oof, that's a kick in the ball sack for sure. Good old TT, drop the rate in time for the financial market closure during the weekend.

All currencies are probably a bit jittery for good reason, but there is no way on earth the THB carries that sort of financial strength.

As much as currency exchanges should reflect real time rates maybe they are concerned of wild fluctuations and building in a good firewall so as not to be caught short. Not saying that is true, just a thought only.

It is looking good at the moment back up to 44.5.

Apparently S&P  has said that you can't have your cake and eat it too. Although why a Thai bakery has so much influence is beyond my understanding of financial markets ...
