Excellent mate!.. In my head it is called Babushka (Kate Bush) or Boom Shakalaka (unkown) but in reality I remember eating something similar in Bahrain with a couple of my Lebanese Engineers... Bloody loved the bread fillings !!

Had the same again for brunch today, no pic.

The owner of the lake is from Austria. He says it's a typical dish from home!

This was the first restaurant I ate at in Pattaya in 1993 , it used to be my go to place ... I haven't been for about five years , the food was okay , but no where near as good as my earlier trips ...

the Irish Coffee still hits the spot though 555

My Mum loved it in there when she visited me here on holiday when she was 85 years old. She had a photo taken in there with an orchid behind her ear, which ended up framed and put in pride of place on her "fancy cupboard" at home.

When she died it was placed on top her coffin...

Breakfast waiting for my taxi home.  I know the filler on the other side of the pond is beans, but where I'm from it's fried potatoes.  Normally hash browns but Harry's didn't have them I so made do with French fries.

Pictures not taken because I day drink in Pattaya:

Soft tacos and nachos from a stall in Tree town.

Tex-Mex Buffet at Beefeater with some old friends.

A huge, very good club sandwich at Hideaway.  I couldn't finish it.

A very nice salmon steak also at Beefeater.

Roadside chicken Kebab carried off to the nearest beer bar.

Various street food the girls in the bars gave me to try.

I've probably forgotten some, which means they're forgettable.

Home now.  Time to dry out.
