COVID 19 GLOBAL

In the IMF Report today, although grim, the amount of debt the UK  is projected to have due to this is not as high as the likes of France, Spain, Italy, and quite a bit smaller than the US will have.

It's important in that it means the UK will not be seen as that much of a risk to lend money to, at least compared to the countries above, so cheaper.

How about when it is added to the debt that existed before?

Ivan is correct, we allowed every tom, dick and harry to arrive over the corona virus 12 week period, with absolutely zero health checks or screening at international airports. But also think the figures for the UK are high because I believe the UK was one of the only few countries that as accurately reported all deaths, infections and recoveries.

In Oz-all overseas travellers returning , including australians had to go into mandatory, secured and policed  hotel quarantine for 2 weeks...in addition to closing the borders to non australians(with a few exceptions) are the two  biggest  factors imo in why Oz have done so well..excellent judgement by the Conservative (Liberal in Oz) federal government.

This highly restrictive policy was opposed by some because to threat to the economy ...but the IMF predicts Australia will be one of the best performing economies in 2020-1 with less hit to GDP

Just there to fool the sheeple, not real, crisis actors no doubt 🙄

Yes. It's amazing what dishonest people will do to convince the uninformed that COVID is real.

Because we all know that 5G is the real problem....

Las Vegas visitors, get ready to cover up. Travelers and residents in Nevada are now required to wear masks when they are indoors in a public place. That means visitors to the city’s dozens of hotel-casinos must wear face coverings, except when eating or drinking.

The order goes into effect 12:01 a.m. Pacific time Friday.

“No shirt. No shoes. No mask. No service,” Nevada Gov. Steve Sisolak said Wednesday in announcing the order.

Drinks are only free if you are "playing"...
Got to "mask up" to play.

. . .

"...Nevada Gov. Steve Sisolak has ordered all Nevadans and Silver State tourists to wear face coverings in public and inside private businesses like the many beckoning resorts dotting The Strip.

...Wearing mask coverings save lives, period. End of story," Sisolak said

"Nevada crested 14,000 COVID-19 cases on Wednesday. In total, 14,362 Nevadans have tested positive for coronavirus and 494 people have died, according the Nevada Health Alliance dashboard. "

No face mask at the Viet Coffee shops here in San Jose that just re-opened.....outdoor patio seating only for now. They can fit about 20 guys outdoors with tables 6 feet apart.

@galenkia Kathy the Korean gal on the left asked me when you are coming here? What should I tell her?

My buddy Mr. Lazarus has been to this location with me.
