  2. A different takeaway dinner from the golf club tonight due to them having a Gatsby themed night. I’ll try to remember to take some photos later if I’m not too drunk.
  3. Me Too !!! -4 hit and Salah Captain !!
  4. ^ Had a rescue dog in the UK over 40 years ago that would eat Grapes, Orange segments, pot leaves. He'd steal beer at parties also.
  5. Thankyou kind sir. The plant is about 10 years old and about 2M tall. Like most (all) citrus plants purchased from plant nurseries it is grafted onto a different rootstock, probably Poncirus trifoliata. Poncirus trifoliata was a slow growing plant which gives the grafted "package" a semi-dwarf or compact habit thus making it suitable for growing in pots.
  6. Just found out one of my dogs has a fondness for durian.
  7. Which was absolutely ridiculous because we took in 4 hours of the super bowls when I was working them more than we took in the rest of the day including the whole evening. But I promoted it early pushed let people know we were going to have it we didn't have the most TVs but they were comfortable and you could see one from wherever you were sitting pretty much. The last year that they did the super bowl I had a good customer come in from past years and tell me he watched it this year over to secrets him and seven other people absolutely ridiculous poor promotion owner and manager just not caring
  8. I watched the roast last night I loved it but man are they brutal
  9. I thought he just forgot the &. Colum & Brian.
  10. Meaning you haven't figured out yet what is going to happen even after she told you.
  11. The one we bought is easy to disassemble the main parts which makes cleaning very easy.
  12. Mine grows in a very small plot, 50cm in diameter. It's in a pot. PS. The zest of the fruit is just as good as the leaves, but don't go down to the pith (ath oppothed to getting on the pith).
  13. Later this afternoon, I am going to this custom hot rod/motorcycle show at Impact. Will take the skytrain link from here......should be a good afternoon hopefully.
  14. Looks a great pint, not a flavour I've had before either😀 Do you remember the brewery name by any chance? Sounds like something Tiny Rebel might produce- you can always go back and check!! Edit. Google does suggest Blue Monkey, now they brew some great beers. There's a Blue Monkey on the pump clip, even with your memory....
  15. I laugh now, because I understand, but before would be angry if in a queue for service of some kind and the assistant went past me to the next Thai. figured out in the end that those who are shy, embarassed to speak English do that, and the ones who are comfortable speaking English do a good job. Lucky now as my Thai is "passable" along with talking with hands and pointing. TOT was the best for that back in the day
  16. aah the old thai prison doors 🙂 I actually am a big fan just because they are so "different" new gaff for next year has one and the wife wants it replaced, I said no as I think it has character. needless to say we havent decided yet 🙂
  17. I guess the portmanteau Columbrian means the love child of a Columbian and Cumbrian ... or is it a male Columbian ??
  18. these are great, takes me back to my youth in a kitchen BUT as bugger to clean afterwards surely 🙂
  19. Following up further on the subject of Kaffir leaves brought up by @Trip that I think belongs in this thread. They are very sturdy and easy plants to grow. M'Lady has 10 trees growing at various stages of life cycle (I've just counted them), 4 of which are mature and continued to provide fruit (and leaves!) during the 3 month drought with minimal watering. Even if you only have a small plot it would be worth planting one or two just for the fun of it ...
