  1. Tawandang.... A little tip - this was the first time It's been just me & the missus so I had a 3L tower pretty much to myself. The last couple of glasses got sickly sweet, never happened before because the tower went twice as fast.

  2. This is one of the oldest websites that I think is out there regarding Pattaya, run by a German guy I think and it's been around for over 20 years. The name has changed and it's not what the name suggests: http://www.pattayasweethearts.com/ On the right hand side of the main site logo is a link which gives a drop down menu. http://www.pattayasweethearts.com/menu.html and the newsflash page. http://www.pattayanewsflash.com/2024/february.html If the owner is on here, I'd like to say "Thank you" for providing a no nonsense and informative site for all these years, and long may it continue.

  6. Wife wanted a salad and "summer" food yesterday for her and some friends, so I made a Larb Salmon, 2 salads with peach slices fried in honey, some grapes with Galbani Mozerella on spinach and a Basalmic vinegar and garlic dip for the sliced bread.

  7. Snowshoe trekked to a hermits cabin this morning. Guy was a photographic journalist, just decided he'd had enough of the world he knew. Went to the wilderness, built himself a 'cabin', lived his life out. He's dead now, though thankfully people are respectful. His cabin is pretty much as he had it, even still has his passport. Some people are just built different.

  10. I think this refers to the way the back fender has been shortened, or "bobbed" - surprised this example still has a front fender as most bobbers don't. As you can see, with the shortened rear fender they have to hang the license plate off to the side which I think looks totally ridiculous and spoils the clean lines of the bike, and could even have dire consequences to one's fleshy parts in case of mishap. I don't care for the look, myself - but then I don't like choppers, either.

  12. Last night, I went with my brother and nephew to see a cover band called Absolute Bowie. Their first set was all Ziggy, and after the break they changed to more modern attire to play most of Bowie's later songs. Small venue but great night. I wore my Bowie 1973 Ziggy concert tshirt which, amazingly, got a few ladies complimenting me. Even got a kiss on the cheek from a lovely lady as I was leaving, a bit of a shock but didn't take it further, must be getting old. Hampton Hub is small but perfect for cover bands. Will add videos if I work out how to make it less than 19mb, maybe somebody here can tell me how to do that as the two videos I want to put on are 50 and 80 mb.

  15. Watering my plants. Really got into them after Jan went into the hospice, would bring them to her a couple of times a week so her room felt like her home. Jan loved plants so much, her flat is like a jungle lol. I buy them from the lady who has a stall below my gym. I think it’s also a part of my bipolar, the obsession and fixation on things. But at least it’s a healthy obsession.

  17. Nooooooooo!!!! just looking at our scores going into the midweek games and you have 56 to my 54, I thought this could be close. My Walker and Van Dyke Vs your KDB, all our other players cancel each other out, and then I seen it, you son of a gun you have played your Triple Captain . My only hope is both KDB and Haaland draw blanks and Walker and van Dyke keep clean sheets, and the odds on that happening is probably several thousand to one

  18. I'd be happy to help you with ordering from Lazada and having it delivered to my place. I could then drop it off at your place. Both @fforest and I have purifiers made by Sharp. A couple of the FP-J30TA models should get the job done for your condo. I understand the pink model is the most energy efficient. https://www.lazada.co.th/products/sharp-23-fp-j30ta-1-i168722992-s209115632.html

  19. The Royal Enfield would definitely be more my style, and be much more comfortable and useable as well....I'll take function, practicality and all-around performance before looks anytime...

  20. Lovely. I usually ask when ordering pizza to cook "well done", but often they don't do it because they are afraid of "burning" the edges and having it sent back (wasted). I don't mind some burnt edges at all.

  27. Aye, don't know what happened with those 2 posts. No text, then quoting myself instead of edit, spelling mistakes all over the shop. I was multitasking, drinking a large latte, eating a falafel wrap, me being a soy boy poof like @galenkia, and posting. I'll do better next time Boss! Menu of where I'm staying, reindeer reindeer and reindeer!

  28. Have to say I'm impressed with FinnAir and Helsinki Airport. Flight was under 3 hours, had loads of just out movies in an individual screen back of the seat. I mind the days when I first started coming to Thailand, the big screen front of the airport, thst was it lol. No queues at all at passport control, I expected it bust as first day of Finnish school holidays, people flying back to go skiing. Loads of Asian restaurants in the Airport. Seen a few Chinese planes and the obligatory fag waver lol. And what about the free blueberry juice, was proper lush. It's the little things 😂
