forcebwithu
Needed to buy some good quality pens, so planned my bike route this morning to swing by Office Mate on Suk and Tai. Unfortunately I missed the memo the store, along with Baan & Beyond are no more.

I assume that it's being replaced with something far less useful. Also when I lived there there was a surgical supply house on Suk. A far more extensive range than any pharmacy. I was in need of wound dressing supplies at the time. It was replaced by a McDonald's. The only decent surgical supply house in Pattaya and they needed another McDonald's.

Sad thing is I stopped at Friendship first to pick some OJ, but decided not to waste the few minutes to check upstairs for pens as Office Mate has had a better selection. forcebwithu
For those interesting in practicing their off road riding skills, Soi Casino is in fine shape for that. Soi Pothole is also in fine shape for challenging your riding skills. Clever idea for a hydroponic garden. 5 1 1

Just looking at that sectioned off bar area still gets me angry from Covid lockdown. Homeless families moved in to that covered area for shelter from the rain and somewhere to feel safe. They had access to running water and a toilet until they were kicked out into the soi by the owners. They then made temporary bashers up on the side of the muddy soi until they were moved on from there too.. I swear that if that place ever opens again I want all the darkest Juju in Africa and the evilest Black Isaan Magic to curse the owners and customers so that they too suffer the same fate for eternity !!! Rant over... 1

Rant over... I can't understand the mentality of some people who seem to get a "kick" out of hurting or making life harder for those less fortunate. The landowner , if he had any sense, might realise that by those people living there, it gives an element of security for the area. It won't get burned down, it won't end up used to tip rubbish and waste and it won't end up subject to petty vandalism because although the families are homeless , they do have pride in the areas they inhabit. If anything they'd tidy the area up, and probably grow some food. They're not like the pikeys in the UK. I truly hope the landowner gets his karma returned for his actions. 3 1

forcebwithu
They should have made Buakhao one way today. The picture below doesn't show it well, but Buakhao is gridlocked from Soi Lengkee north to Klang due to the electric line work. Looks like they're going to have the holes filled on 2nd Rd before the traffic madness starts tomorrow. 2 1
