Been waiting in to receive a delivery, just arrived, so am released to enjoy what looks like a nice day out there.

Going to do my weekly shop at Tescos then go for a long walk. Hopefully can get 5 miles in before meeting a mate in the pub for a few pints of the black stuff.

We went down the Big Pit a few years ago and found it an amazing insight into a miners working day during the last century.

Wondering why 2 USAF Chinooks have just gone over my house, they left Cardiff heading west but remembered Biden is in Ireland tomorrow isn't he.

I will keep an eye on their flight path. They were at 1350 feet.

So let our 6000 mile journey begin, first trip back to Thailand since April 19. Driving to Premier Inn at Sunbury on Thames.Got a table booked at the Sipson Tandoori Restaurant this evening. We will partake of the premier breakfast at 7.30 in the morning before taking our car to its Park On My Drive home for the next 4 weeks. The guy whose space we are parking at will take us to Terminal 2 for a 12.30 departure on flight TG911. Cannot wait to feel that heat on my back again.
