Today he had a make up day at his new school, so Daughter could go to a restaurant. She wanted to try the American diner we told her about. Back to Route 66. Starters, jalapeño poppers and mozzarella sticks: TW had the buffalo wings, Daughter the Grand Slam (a lot of which went home) and I had the French dip: The sausage in the Grand Slam is Jimmy Dean !!!! The buffalo wings were excellent. Everything was very good, but I probably wouldn't bother with that particular sandwich again. There are plenty more to try. P.S. I had to type, load picture, submit, edit, type, load picture, submit, edit, type. The attachment function doesn't insert until you submit anymore.
