Not sure how this means that everyone in hospital is COVID+, but I'm not inclined to argue with you mate Other people maybe. 🙂 Every practice now has an online message advising to only make an appointment with a doctor for anything but symptoms of covid 19. In fact I am now unable to make an appointment online to prevent me turning up with a covid related issue. I must call ahead to the doctor surgery for unrelated covid 19 issues and call 111 if I have any symptoms that could point to covid 19. If the 111 service suspect you have covid 19 or similar symptoms you will be asked to self isolate and call 999 only if an emergency situation arises. All non essential appointments and procedures in hospitals have been cancelled, pharmacists are still open to allow prescriptions to be collected. I read that visits to A and E departments were down by over 40 percent presently. Those that do require hospitalization will add to the total beds taken up but the amount of covid 19 patients is growing such that new hospitals and front line staff has also grown. Not an ideal situation but everything is done to assist the NHS in their herculean task of taking care of all patients. This doesn't contradict anything I've posted mate, with the greatest of respect.

Kataleya had a urinary infection characterized by pain when she peed yet calling 111 on a Sunday night led them to assume she had covid 19 and to stay home from school and Porn and I to self isolate. Due to the fact Kataleya was stressed (and a 5 year old) Porn took her to A and E where she was found to have, what I suspected, was a urinary infection. We are not testing people here, only frontline staff are getting that done or those in patients suspected of covid 19 or those with money to self test

Is this virus getting stronger or is there someone telling lies ?? 24 minutes ago, Rompho Ray said: The Chinese are lying, and western countries are inflating the numbers by counting everyone who dies WITH the virus as having died OF the virus. That is, if you turn up at a hospital with terminal cancer and a bullet in your head, and you test positive for the virus before or after death, they count you as a COVID death. But Ray, he gave the UK figures, that's what he asked about, which you know, so you answering and giving what the US is doing is irrelevant to what he said/asked. Also, I take daily medication for high pressure and high cholesterol, so would be classed as having underlying health issues. If I get covid and die from it, then I die from covid, whether complications from my other conditions or not. I wouldn't have died if I hadn't caught covid. Well, I would have died some time, as we all will, i'm sure you understand what i'm saying. If someone has terminal cancer and dies in a car crash, then they died of a car crash. With all due respect, I still don't see how any of this contradicts anything I've posted. The process is slightly different than I suggested, but it doesn't change the ~85% negative testing rate. Ray, I've seen you post this thing a few times now about everyone with a 'sniffle' to quote you, turning up and getting admitted to hospital, and you then using this to say that's why the hospitals are over run. Mate, that's just not the case, at least not in the UK. I can't comment on the US, as I only see the media reports, and wouldn't use that. I've been trying to avoid responding to you, as I know you're bored and pissed off, the bars are closed, and to add insult to injury, it was the Government who did it, and we all know how much you hate the Government interfering in your life at the best of times Mango has been kicking and screaming trying to get out, and I don't want or will engage in a 5 page 'debate' about this with you. I work for Public Health who are coordinating the regional responses to this, so I know what's happening re people getting admitted etc. The process is if you think you have covid you ring 111, you then get a telephone triage, and then whether you are deemed to have Covid or not, you are told to self isolate at home, do not come to the hospital or Doctors. The only way you are supposed to come to the hospital if you are told to or it's that bad an ambulance is called, you are deemed serious enough to have a ambulance come get you, and them deem you serious enough to be admitted, usually you can't breath by yourself, you're going to die without intervention. Now of course people are panicking and turning up at hospital anyway, not so much now, but certainly at the start. At the hospitals that have set up special covid pods, at the entrances, and kept well away from the general hospital. If you turn up you are then triaged, same process, takes about 10 mins, and again unless you are deemed to need intervention or you will die, you are sent home with a stern lecture about following procedure and not wasting people's valuable time. They don't even get into the hospital, let alone clogging up the wards. Again, I don't know how it works in the US, but in the UK this is how it's working, only those deemed by a nurse or Doctor to be going to die without intervention will be admitted. Those that turn up with nothing more than a 'sniffle', 'manflu', been watching too much zombie movies and certainly not, and they are given short shrift, and rightly so! 6 2

I take a different stance on what you stated in your post that I quoted. You say that the reason millions are under house arrest and cant go to work is so " a few 100 year old fossils stay alive another few days "........ I see the reason we are all self isolating is so that WE dont contact the virus and help spread it even further. And in so doing we also help to slow down the burden on our hospitals and all the workers that are involved in fighting this fight. But in your statement that I quoted you insist it's simply a plot to keep a few old fucker alive. Pretty fucking lame to me. Anyway....Your rants are great rants but they have no validity to me So keep on pounding away at your keyboard till the cows come home. I just skip over them. In a strange way It reminds me of all rich and famous who swore up and down that if Trump got elected that they would move out of the United States of America and never come back. And do you know not one of those idiots left. Go figure.

From what I've read (e.g., Bill Gates & epidemiologists) testing and tracking is the best way to move forward with fighting the virus until a vaccine is implemented. There should not be a problem for Americans as they are already used to it for guns and voting?

It's a forum destroyer, and the less it's on this forum except in the said section, the better IMO! 4
