My brother has a vast collection of quad posters (one particular worth over £5000 - The Great Escape) and has probably got over £30000 worth, it will all go to his son. As he told me the other day, many of the posters he now has were on his wall in his room in his hall of residence back in the early 70s and he threw them away, he bought them again at silly prices over the last 10 years. I brought a load of Sven Hassel novels from a Car boot sale a few years back and flogged them on Ebay for 3x what I paid!. Books from Car boot sales can make some decent wedge, but they need to be specialised. Photography, Sailing and boatcraft, "hobby" books and stuff for scale modelling always sells for 4 or 5 times the price, sometimes more.
