My Son just sent me this picture of his pool they just got completed last week......nice. Looking forward to getting a dip in here in a few weeks. We leave for Kauai, Hawaii Tuesday for his wedding. I asked him if he and his finace are robbing banks or what....this is course was not included in his brand new house they just bought.

I'm not jealous or anything LOL!

Lovely. That’s exactly the sort of size pool I’d like at home ( Thailand not UK) - i would love my retirement home to have this as something to relax in

Just filling in the online government form to claim back the International Health Charge that was paid when applying for Porn's extension visa. Porn is employed by the NHS and she is allowed to recompense for the charge. As the IHS is for 2.5 years you need to claim after every 6 months of duties with the NHS or Care sector work.

It is a pain but if it gives back over £300 every 6 months it is worth the effort producing the required information and documents.

Just got back from a meeting in the Covent Garden area of London. Baking hot today and the area was full of some very fit women showing a great deal.of bare flesh. I tried not to get caught looking. 😁

It's roasting here in Shropshire,  but the only birds at the lake are the feathered variety.

Lots of them too!

Having a lazy day today - good day for it, cool and intermittently rainy - after starting a new job last Thursday night; I got tired of sitting around filling my face with beer every day so I applied for a night time security position with our local gov't and was accepted - in typical gov't fashion it took them weeks to get me started but  I've just completed my first four nights of 12 hr shifts and will catch up on my sleep today on the first of four days off before I do another four nights of work. The pay is nowhere near what I had been accustomed to in my previous career but with evening and weekend premiums it's perfectly okay with me and is a lot less physically and mentally demanding than my previous work. It's an auxiliary on-call position so I can pretty well come and go whenever I wish which will work into my  travel plans for this winter well - I only have to work one day a year to remain on the list and have a very good chance of being hired back again when I return.

Had a long weekend and just finishing some long overdue paperwork. Close a bank account that has imposed an annual fee coz the balance so low, apply a new passport, follow up on NI contributions missed years, partial prepay mortgage. Hope I'm back on track.
