Had one of those, 'I didn't know that before moments' today.

I have HDPRIME TV access via my laptop and mobile. I use the app often and have usually used an HDMI connection to my TV or Cast the tab/screen to the TV via a screencast capability. Been doing this for 3.5 years. Most of the time I get a good connection but occasionally (especially with Live Sports) I have had connection issues and occasional buffering.

Last night, I was looking to cast the Chelsea v Preston game from my laptop, but noticed that at the bottom of the TV that there was an option for YOUTUBE etc., with WEB OS along the line. Now I have not used the WEB OS app before, as I have a laptop and android, but just suddenly thought, can I sign in to my HDPRIME through the TV.

Well, I did sign in, and can I say how damn good the signal is. No buffering, good quality picture and a better size fit for the TV screen.

I presume the TV has been connected to my Virgin WIFI, but the quality and streaming is so superior to other connections via HDMI and casting. It is so simple, so bloody good that I am shocked I have never done this before.

Many times we have, as a family started watching a casted film only for it to buffer and destroy the viewing, now I am happy I won't need to do that again.

Of course this is probably why the TV is called Smart and I am not lol

Used to use HDMI a lot. Was good for transferring porn to the big screen when the girls were over. LOL

Would even carry a cable when I travelled.

Connection points can go bad though and sometimes can be a pain in the ass.

Kind of hard to do when you've got your dick in your right hand.

I have had the TV for 3.5 years and previously, you had to click on the remote to go to the Smart area which houses all these apps. Now though, when I switch on the TV, this app area comes on to the screen first thing and you need to hit the 'return' key to go back to a TV channel. It was then that I noticed all these other areas including free Movie channels with ads etc., and the Web OS partition.

Most TVs remember where you were previously and start back up in the same condition.

Eg, if I put a memory stick in to watch a film or play music. The next time I turn it back on, the USB menu will fire up first.

Obviously we are turning the TV off on the remote and not powering down completely which is a different thing.

Back in wing 5 hotel ao manao, apart from the 2 reception girls were the only guests here, pitch black driving through the base and across the runway to get back here, spooky

Had a good day, started off feeding the langurs in the morning ,great fun, didn't take any photos with phone this time it's a pain as both hands are occupied, instead used the insta 360 cam attached to tshirt, bought for doing munros in Scotland but its really handy for this sort of stuff, and for riding the bike, hope I've captured the beautiful bay and monkeys well.

Smashing video that brought back fond memories of our visit to Ao Manao 6 or 7 years back.

Had my house sitter over yesterday giving me a hand to fill up the house with firewood before i leave - we've got much colder weather in the forecast so it's good timing - sure goes easier with two guys working at it; we probably dumped about ten loads like this into my basement:

Mine changed after a software update. Luckily, when going into the WEB OS, the HDPrime is shown as an option, so it is a simple case of clicking on the APP and hitting Login as the account/password details  screen is already filled in. Love it now.

Wow this is what a degenerate online card player looks like……finally bought a whiteboard to keep track of all the tournaments I am eligible for, hate missing a freebie but the more rewards I collect I have too many options to remember…..could be the best $3 I have ever spent!

Just been checking my online banking and Nationwide have been putting over £18,00 in my Flexcusive account .

Today just gets better and better.

They are similar to Waitrose/ John Lewis, where staff share in the company, as do customers, always get something every year, but this year was particularly good.
