One of the occasions I'm happy to be ignorant of some things. Had no idea who Sam Smith is. Had to Google it. Going back to my blissful ignorance.

Contemplative Misery vs Blissful Ignorance

I didn't know either and made a mental note to look it up then forgot about it.

No thanks for reminding me.

Probably saw the publicity Richard Wilkins got and decided to do the reverse.

I'll save you the trouble. Richard Wilkins is an Australian "hey everybody look at me" TV presenter.

He claimed to have tested positive although he had no symptoms. Then he claimed to have tested positive again. Then he claimed to have tested positive again. By this time people were starting to rip into him for burning up test kits which were in short supply  at the time and he went quiet or at least below my radar.

On Sam Smith

Smith explained they started to get symptoms of the illness before the UK was significantly impacted, and
said that within a week, their sister “started getting the same symptoms”.

The 'How Do You Sleep?' hitmaker and their sister self-isolated for three weeks in order to protect their
family.

“I've got an older Nan, so we didn't want to risk anything,” Smith said.

Is the sister and the Nan part of them, their and they or are they separate vessels?

Right now I’m looking to book a holiday at the end of June to LOS because that’s when I’m predicting it will be kind of normal-ish. UK has a further 3 week lock down and then will start easing it in phases so I’m looking around for potential flights to get out of Dodge and into Sin City 😂

About to go into meltdown.

Trying to access my Nationwide account online but my card reader ain't working.

Gone through the re register process 3 times and none of the codes work so have to wait 30 minutes to try again.

All I want to do is increase my monthly credit card payments so I don't get hammered on interest.

Can you not call them, even tomorrow morning?

I know it's Sunday, but some you can call until 12 or 1pm

I'll try again shortly and see if it will let me order a new card reader.

And I'll check out the call centre times.

Aye, I hate those card reader things myself.

Thankfully Santander don't use them.

Arguing with Lefty Corbyn fuckwits on Facebook.

There's a local facebook group for my area, it's an informative, decent group.

There was thread started from a news article about an Orthodox Jewish Rabbi's funeral over the weekend, where I said it was sad, but they community in the main still does not adhere to social distancing, and I fear for not only them as a community, but also my own family as we live very close.

Well f**k me, I've been called everything from racist, anti semetic to crass, and I don't mean the Punk band ffs!

Had a look at a few profiles, momentum and Corbyn fuckwits

I'm fucking firing into them, saying listen, it's the truth, and you will certainly not stop me telling because you don't like to hear it!  Told them they're getting on like fascists, trying to censor or stop people telling the truth, but that irony is obviously beyond their intellect!

It's going well, stops you getting bored on a Tuesday night with no football 😄

With respect, I think you are in cloud cuckoo land. When things ease the virus will spread again and we will have a 2nd wave.

I have already had a flight to Canada cancelled in June because the airline is grounded. Even if you could get a flight to Thailand and they let you in, the odds are that you would still be required to isolate for 2 weeks.

I would hold on to your money and book last minute if things do change,

I have written this year off regarding any travel plans.

Not worth the risk.

I understand where you are coming from...part of wants something to look forward to as opposed to the weekly shop, four walls, pornhub and of course Netflix.

I really holding out for a best case scenario but take your point we might be ok back home but other places may not be as welcoming. I guess I’ll have to still go around dressed in my giant condom for a few more months.

Dare I say I need a pet (nope you sickos) as in something to keep me company and focused on simple things. Gosh the simple life is hard work [emoji29]

I guess it’s a staycation until then...time to dig out some old photos and videos. Yes I actually take short clips of the good times on holiday. Infact I do have one of Pattaya beach with the sunsetting for about 5 mins.

I've seen on television that Brazil has been hit fairly hard with the virus. Many deaths and huge mass graves. But the Brazilian president is play it all down in the press.

He looked sick himself during the speech he gave the other day. Wouldn't surprise me if...
