She must be the most unluckiest TVR owner ever, ok they had a bit of a bad rep with reliability problems thats why i bought the Chimera which was recognised as the most reliable everyday use TVR.

I had mine for 3 years and never had any issues with reliabilty and then sold it for good money to a mate of mines dad who retained it for many more years.

I remember from quite a few years ago one of the car mags ran a test of the latest TVR by driving it in Europe, they had to call the TVR technicians out as it broke down in Paris.

Now for those real petrol heads have a lookie at this edition of "Wheeler Dealers" covering the TVR Griffith. As the proud owner of a TVR Chimera 500 for 3 years i can agree entirely with their assessment, bloody awesome cars at an affordable price.

My Chimera.....

My mate is currently restoring a Chim. Bit of a challenge though, but damn, hell of a car. Luckily the chassis is fine, which could have added a few ££ to the final bill....

I’ve had 2 v12 E Types fully restored a few years ago, with complete body off restoration and engine’s Blueprinted etc.
Luckily there’s several companies out there, with highly skilled mechanic’s who know these cars inside out and do a fantastic job, but not cheap.

I have loads of of pics and videos of before, during and after the restorations taken by the guys who did the work, which took over a year on each.😟 They’re in an old laptop somewhere, I’ll see if I can find them. 👌

60th anniversary of the creation of my all-time favourite car, the Ferrari GTO - love the colour of this example:

We did some work on the electronics for Ferrari and when one guy was in the factory and came across a non-red vehicle his host looked down his nose and said "That is not a Ferrari".  Old school employee that maintained red was the only real colour for them.

Same with Ducati bikes, they only look right in red. It's their true colour.
