Rebooked my return Finnair flight for a week later in August giving me 40 days away now which will allow a little bit more traveling around, maybe add a city or side trip overseas.

Tried to use Manage My Booking to do the change but every time I got to payment it kept saying 'oops, technical problem' so ended up calling Finnair which took me 95 minutes to get through. The funny thing was at the beginning of the call it said there were less than 10 people ahead of me so unless they had a three toed sloth on the end of the phone something was way off.  In fact it was almost exactly at 1730 I got answered so probably transferred overseas from the UK office.

£51 total for the 3 of us to change to a week later so really happy with that. Same seat numbers as well.

Just tested positive for covid. Wife and child have had it for days now so I have joined the club. Just a paracetamol for the head but other than that it's quite mild.

Was only a matter of time I guess, hopefully symptons stay mild.

On a positive note you can get back to cuddles with the family again.

Yup, unsurprisingly what seems to be happening here with the people around me testing positive is that those that were vaccinated with Sinxxxxxxx are really suffering, those on AZ or Pfizer are just popping a paracetemol or two...

Good Luck!!!

Yes if we all have covid we can get back in the same room together. The only issue is that both Porn and Kataleya are 5 days ahead of me so I will stay away from them overnight as I am hoping they are both negative tomorrow and by Friday Kataleya can go to school.

I just need a paracetamol to keep the headaches in check otherwise feeling good after 2 days of feeling crap when I was negative.

My eldest son in UK is also 5 days ahead of his wife. He is now negative whilst she remains positive.

He is of the understanding that he has a short period of immunity. Not sure if that is correct or not but I'd love to hear your opinion.

Kataleya has already done day 5 and 6 tests to release but unfortunately still positive. You wouldn't think she has covid, running around like a normal healthy child but still positive. Hopefully she will be negative tomorrow.

When you say 'short period of immunity' if you mean how long they have immunity to the virus after infection I am reading it is anywhere from 3 months to 3 years (not sure how they know the last figure).

I would think though that having it now together with being triple jabbed will increase the overall immunity but the advice is still to keep to good personal hygiene, wearing masks where necessary etc.
